Valleygal, I don't know if you know J.D. personally, but I once had the opportunity of meeting him in a meeting and he seems to be a really okay guy.

We aren't friends or anything, but I 've spoken with him a time or two and just spent 2 hours with him at a "coffee" at our neighbors. I love the guy. What you see is the real thing, I think. He is very down to earth, talks about his wife and kids alot.

He plans on running for the Republican Conference Chairman (JC Watts' old job).
