I looked about 20 minutes ago, and the price had jumped to 50 cents. It is now at 78.9 cents. The 9:45 (CST) price update just came out: To buy a share that pays $1.00 if it is a Republican House and Senate just went to 98.5 cents.
I think it's a lock, folks. Hopefully, there will be a pickup for MN and MO, making it +2 in the Senate after losing in AR.

If Thune does come back and Allard holds (I always just
knew Colorado would come through)...dare I say it...we could be +3 in the Senate with Louisiana in play for a possible +4.
Wow.
Simply Wow.

Hummmm, must we rally the next generation steel magnolias and help you get rid of Mary, Mary quite contray? I thought you were up to the task all by yourself. :) However, from time to time, the Sisterhood has to lend a slight push. :) What do you think?

U.S. SENATE SOUTH DAKOTA
31% Reporting
JOHNSON (I) D 56,641 51%
THUNE R 52,571 48%
This narrowing is indicating central precincts coming in and we have West River to come yet. Looking much better. Thune has excellent chance.

Hey Bill: My best to you on what is becoming a very enjoyable evening for friends of Liberty in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

The Fox News web site has a neat graphic about half-way down the page that is updated as each race is called. It shows the balance of power in both houses.Curently:
Senate: GOP - 44 / Dems - 44
House: GOP - 130 / Dems - 102
I'm keeping a browser window open on that page and reloading it every few minutes. Kinda neat.

Ehrlich up 52-47 with 90% counted.
I'm always a pessimist, hence my earlier comments. If you're a pessimist, you're always pleasantly surprised :-)
Looks like KKT will have plenty of time to BWAHAHAHAHAH focus on her SNORT Presidential Campaign BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

ANOTHER DELICIOUS SCHADENFREU-
DUh UPDATE:
Well, the election is over, so is it now OK here at the DU to criticize the cowardly and failed leadership of Tom Dashle and Dick Gephardt who were terrified of standing up to George W. Bush to protect the lives of American boys and girls from a war for oil?
There were a lot of us who took a lot of shit here for daring to speak out against this so-called "strategy" of the Democratic National Leadership. Well, congratulations to all of you here who stood by these jackasses who have wrecked the remains of the Democratic Party, which is now little more than a token opposition party with little more real power than the Green Party.
Bush and Gang have it all, folks. Tom Dashle and Dick Gephardt betrayed the Democratic Party. They put their political "careers" over the good of the nation!

First time I've ever seen a guy run for Gov. and never issue a radio or TV ad.Oh, Sonny ran both TV and radio - matter of fact, a couple of his hit below the belt, if you ask me... (not that King Roy's weren't underhanded either)
