Judy Woodruff (with a tremor in her voice) is saying that Cleland isn't actually dead yet.
That's as good as CNN calling the state for Chambliss (IMHO).
I thought everyone might enjoy some of the thread titles running over at DU right now:
Jesus Christ it's a sh**** night...
Rationalization thread: This was not a GOP victory.
May I please drown myself in a vat of vodka?

Gallup caught the rightward tilt in the generic just like they did in 94. CBS/NYtimes caught it also but refused to believe it.
Zogby caught diddly both times.

We ain't out of this ditch yet. We are losing Ark and Missouri/Minnesota is too close to call. We have picked up Ga. We have to pick up two seats to keep Chaffee from bolting.

I just got DirectTV satalite, and the ABC, NBC, and CBS channels are showing regular programing, not election coverage. I'm near Chicago. Does anyone know what's going on? Shouldn't I be getting election coverage by now?The networks were not scheduled to even begin coverage until 10pm EST/9pm CST; they've largely abandoned their duties to the American citizen.
However, there's also a chance you're watching the West Coast feeds of the networks.
