Official Louisiana US Senate results are at

http://www.sec.state.la.us/cgibin/?rqstyp=ELCMR&rqsdta=110502&ID=14012601

My candidate isn't looking good, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised at that. I still think that because each candidate has such regional support, the final result could be very different from early returns. I called the Terrell campaign last night to sign up as a volunteer but put tomorrow's date on the form, so I was expecting things to go this way. (I volunteered for Dr. Cooksey the same way.) The only scary thing is that Orleans Parish isn't reporting, and they might try to report last and fudge whatever numbers are needed to elect Liberal Senator Landrieu.

It was a good move to can Pitt, the William Webster selection was a fiasco. I wonder how long W is going to give O'Neil? I think he will be given the ax next.

What's the deal with Louisiana??!
They have the Republican vote split between THREE candidates. Combine their totals and they easily beat the DemocRat forerunner.

Connie Morella (R) apparently going down to defeat in my MD district (Montgomery Co.) Chris van Hollen (D) up 5% with 2/3 of votes in.>

And I spent 10 hours today outside a polling station in P.G. County, MD handing out flyers for the RINO!!! "Connie for choice and gun control" they read. Oh well, they redistricted her district until it was about 2/3 dems.

Don't give up hope yet -- at 38% it was Sneakyman 56-43 -- now at 41% it is 53-45. Riley has closed from 42,000 down to 35,000 down in just 3% of precincts.

According to the MO website for election returns, with 25% fo the vote in, Carnahan is up 49.5% to 49.2 % (less than 2000 votes out of over 500,000 cast)!

We won't know about MO for days or weeks with the provisional voting crap!

Maryland Governor: Townsend (D) leads Erlhich (R) 51% to 48% with about 38% of precints reporting.

Bleah. Eastern Shore districts come in first, too. Well, at least my county (Caroline) went for Ehrlich 3-1. Unfortunately it's only 6,000 votes for Ehrlich.

If Ehrlich doesn't win, only hope to ever take the governorship is to run a Black Republican.
