I like being a ReThug,,we need a tee shirt with that on it. This is a great nite,,fingers crossed. And we didn't take Xanax last election, I personally consumed tons of snickers bars.

Welcome to Freerethuglic... LOL! Just hope the night in California goes well, too!

You are correct...as I understand it, he was actually playing with a live grenade, then dropped it.

Cleland is in a wheelchair. He lost his leg(s) in VietNam. I'm not sure if it's one or both.

Cleland is a triple amputee, the result of a horrible grenade accident in Vietnam. It was a non-combat wound, but that does not make his service any less honorable. Max is a very nice fellow, but the issue is his politics. He campaigns like Reagan, but votes like Kennedy. Time to find another job...

I heard some background chatter on the weather service announcement for Monmouth County (NJ). It sounds like high tide, storm in coastal areas. I can't imagine why they called it an unknown event, except that maybe someone goofed in data entry.

I just got DirectTV satalite, and the ABC, NBC, and CBS channels are showing regular programing, not election coverage. I'm near Chicago. Does anyone know what's going on? Shouldn't I be getting election coverage by now?

"Carville and Begala lokking worried on CNN. Carville singing the blues, getting upset!!! Love it!"

I hope we get to see the Forehead and the Serpent Head pitch a raging, cussin' hissy fit on camera. LOL. Maybe it will finish those two off. LOL

I tell you, Bill and Hillary sure are the kiss of death aren't they? In 2004, I bet that no Democrat allows Bill and Hillary to get within 1000 feet of them.

Heh...at the exact moment I was reading this, Chris Matthews and Donna Brazile were talking about what a GREAT NIGHT this was turning out to be for Bill and Hillary Clinton!! Nice try, guys!

Connie Morella (R) apparently going down to defeat in my MD district (Montgomery Co.) Chris van Hollen (D) up 5% with 2/3 of votes in.

If we have to lose one, she'd be the one I'd want to lose.

Anyone else getting that ol' 1994 feeling again? This is shaping up as the best thing since they took FL out of the 'D' column in 2000.

7. I'm afraid it doesn't matter, Will
we're going to lose the Senate whether Mark Pryor wins or not. I can't believe this is happening. Now it seems Bush will able to do whatever the hell he wants, and there will be recriminations among the Democratic Party about who's responsible. And we'll have to put up with media whores calling Bush the greatest president in history for bucking the mid-term trend. I'm physically sick.

Back online after being out of pocket awhile:

C-Span: simulcasting KATV, Little Rock and showcasing the extension that the 'Rats filed for and received. This is being webcast at http://www.cspan.org/watch/

If you are watching via satellite, GPTV & WSB-TV are carrying Georgia coverage on their standard feed.
