Frankly, I think people -- including freepers -- are already underestimating what an historic achievement these election results truly are. Unprecedented for generations for the first midterm for the party in power... I think since 1934.

I know it would be in bad taste for me to say that at this point it looks like Cleland is spinning his wheels, so I won't say it...Okay, will somebody explain all these Cleland jokes to me? I must not have been paying attention when the gossip was dished out.

WHINE, cry, carp, screaming fraud, change the system it's not workin. ALL the Democrats just melting down. ROFLOL. The blasted Democrats have had our election laws IN COURT 4 TIMES in less than 2 years. I think they ought to get the message WE resent that. Play FAIR, is what we asked. Now, we demand it. They MUST quit their lyin, cheatin, stealin ways. :) If they take anything else to Court, it's going to COST them in more ways than they can count. THEY are the cheaters. STOP IT Democrats.

As bad as things were for us in 2000, I don't think any of us talked about popping Xanax pills.
Never underestimate a Dem's ability to overreact like a little girl.

Channel 5 in Boston is PROJECTING MITT ROMNEY (R) THE WINNER IN MASSACHUSETTS!!
With 25% of the vote in, Mitt has a 53-43% lead over Shannon "Hillary" O'Brien.
I tell you, Bill and Hillary sure are the kiss of death aren't they? In 2004, I bet that no Democrat allows Bill and Hillary to get within 1000 feet of them.

Don't worry yet - everything counted so far is Carnahan strongholds around St. Louis and KC .. If she only has a slim lead there, then it will get ugly for her bigtime when the heartland starts reporting.

"Jeb owes Timmy a big fat kiss for his pushing McMumbles during the debate on the schools program cost issue."Jeb owes Timmy NOTHING. His constituents flat out LOVE him. McMumble is an idiot, and even the Daytona News Journal and FL Sun Times can't STAND him. YOU are the one kidding yourself.

Pingee seems to be holding her own against Collins in Maine, is this an artifact or are we in trouble? Maine doesn't look good for Raye against Michaud for Balducci's former Second District House seat, either, though that wasn't really unexpected. I'm looking for some losses in Maine, but the numbers may not give the Dems much comfort at all.
