I just got DirectTV satalite, and the ABC, NBC, and CBS channels are showing regular programing, not election coverage. I'm near Chicago. Does anyone know what's going on? Shouldn't I be getting election coverage by now?

The networks were not scheduled to even begin coverage until 10pm EST/9pm CST; they've largely abandoned their duties to the American citizen.

However, there's also a chance you're watching the West Coast feeds of the networks.
