Carnahan takes the lead....with 798 precincts in out of 4425 (16%), she's up 50.9 to 47.8. BUT:
This is St. Louis votes. Half of Gephardts precincts have been counted. Half of William Clay Jr (urban St. Louis) have been counted. Kansas City is still uncounted, but so is much of the outstate votes.
Still good news!
To: usmom
Don't get too excited. We are talking about 10,000 votes total counted so far. Probably Waukesha County. The Milwaukee precincts are still filling out Democrat absentee ballots for Doyle.

Too bad we share this otherwise great state with Detroit and the moronic union workers. Whatever Detroit wants Detroit gets thus showing the dark side of democracy. Any way we can get some sort of Electoral College for the Governors races?
Alternatively we could just gather up some big guys with crowbars and pay Detroit a visit. If we could move them just five miles east they would be Canada's problem.

So - I've taken my 2 Xanax's so I can sleep and tomorrow I'll will myself awake and go through the daily slog at work. I'll do it day after day waiting and hoping that someday the sheeple will stir from their torpor, rub their eys, survey the destruction to which they've acquiesced, and get to work rebuilding what they themselves have destroyed.Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha! Stop it, I'm peeing my pants from laughter!
The systemwide overload of Schadenfreude is compressing my bladder!

MO Senate - 5% Reporting - Talent (R) 51% Carnahan (d) 48%On fox, Carl Cameron says that this includes heavily dem St. Louis. If he's holding his own there, this could be a blow-out.

While having no national implications, the VT GOP is trying to get up and dust themselves off tonight. The state's lone congressional seat, which they put no money into, was lost to Bernie Sanders. The Governors race is very close with a slim Douglas (R) lead at this point. Dubie, the Republican Lt' Governor candidate, has an 8 point lead in a 3 way race. There is no senate race in VT this year. Heres hoping that we can turn this train wreck of a state around.
