FLORIDA VOTERS CLAIM MACHINES 'BROKEN', VOTED FOR MCBRIDE, MARKED IT AS AS BUSH

"I voted for McBride, but the machine counted it as Bush. It did this three times. The polling worker finally said, 'We have to reprogram this machine. Another person was having the same trouble while I was there.'"

So claimed a caller to Southern Florida's WQAM-AM and the highly-rated radio talkprogram NEIL ROGERS SHOW.

"I'll tell you right now, this election is fixed!" roared Rogers, who has been in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale market for more than 30 years. "Based on a few early calls, it is going to be a wild, wild time!"

Touch-screen and other high-tech voting machines make their full-scale debut Tuesday.

I saw this on Drudge and began laughing my a$$ off. The Dems are overplaying there hand in every instance, and the sad part is they don't even know it! Stunts like this and the Wellstone memor...rally make the Simon campaign look like a bunch of geniuses.

Go Jeb!

Go Simon!

Is there any American institution that the Democrats will not defile? They subvert our Judicial system. They subvert our justice system. The subvert our election system. They are unpatriotic and enemies of the state. Sorry for the strident tone, but it is true in my estimation.

I think you may be right on that front.

The Dems have developed a new weapon for their base, "We didn't lose - we were robbed!"

Conservatives looking for a sure career ought to go into election law - because the Dems are headed there very quickly.

The democrats have successfully dumbed down their voting base to the point of illiteracy and now they complain because the idiots can't read or follow instructions. Typical.

In a word, IMPOSSIBLE. You put your votes in, the screen pops up with your choices, you doublecheck them. If no matter what you press, "Bush" comes up, then you should call the poll worker. But the vote won't be registered until you finish checking, then you press the red light. After the red light, you just see a screen, "Thank you for voting". So how could you register a wrong vote?

This is a total scam to try and convince those poor, deluded minorities the rich republicans are trying to steal votes. And they will believe it, just like they did last time, despite all evidence to the contrary.

Which voter? Some anonymous caller to a talk show in South Florida.

I am sure we can take this caller at face value. </sarcasm>

There is a law suit right now in Dallas regarding this very same thing. They (the Dems) are saying that when some voters went to vote for Ron Kirk, the machine registered a vote for Cornyn instead. Touch screen voting. Just heard about this on KLIF this morning on the way in. I find it hard to believe that this very same thing is happening in Florida and Texas.

It's going to bite them and bad. There are federal pollwatchers and I gurantee that the shenanigans are being vidoetaped. This will hopefully result in some actual prosecutions.

This is really getting rather ridiculous. I can just hear the Dems' spin now - when Bush is re-elected Governor - they will say that he "stole" the electrons and was "selected" not "elected".

This is what happens when you allow your state to be turned into a Third World country.

You've got the same problem in Florida as we have in AZ ... once conservative, and now with relocated socialists and illegals, we are experiencing a cliff-hanger in the Governor's race

We also have problems on the Indian reservations like the other states.

Pray.

Each voter gets a printed receipt from the machine. If the votes are not what they wanted, they can take it to a poll worker to cancel the vote and get it changed.

That is not the way it works. They get no receipt. I agree they should, but they don't.
