I wished I could have voted on secession but I'm down here in Long Beach. Even my lib friend up in the Valley was voting yes, it should be a landslide for secession.

Just a FYI for Californians. The girlfriend just phoned and reported she had no trouble voting in Redondo Beach (SoCal). She said workers there told her the turnout was unusually high. Hopefully this is a good sign.

The good news is that Lautencelli (D-NJ) will probably kack within two years. The same goes for Mondstone (D-MN).

WOW! I only had to vote for three Libertarians this year.Unfortunately, that reduction in Libertarian votes wasn't because the GOP candidates were any better than last election. It's just that in several cases this year, the Libertarian flakes were worse than the GOP flakes.
What's worse, I keep track each year, of what percentage of my votes are for the "lesser evil" and this year was the first time that more than 50% of my votes were cast for the lesser evil. I wonder how many others find themselves voting increasingly for the "lesser evil".

I voted, Republican, straight across (and voted NO on allowing local assembly to go from 2 year to 4 year term in Cortland County, NY)

Well the crowd at DU
h certainly do seem to be in full suicide mode. The funny thing is the amount of posters is laughably small.
For example
Post yer voting experiences here!! - with 79 replies
and my own particular favourite
Are all 17,000+ of us here? - with a whopping 6 replies!
I'm now heading back to my hotel which I'm sorry to say has only CNN.
The horror ........ the horror ........

Before I lose it...
Drinking game here at home. One swig for Republican win or projected win, a burp for Demonicrat.
We're running out of wine and getting soused.
Incidentally, it's too bad for Hillieary, Mahmood, and McVey, but it must be hard to vote for people with names like that.

Yup. You took less time than I did, and dad took forever. ;)

Grabauskas Hmm, you'll have to tell me how that's pronounced! I've never seen that name before.
Pronounced just the way it looks -- gra-BOWS-kus. He turned the RMV in Mass. from the ninth circle of Hell to an actual place of business.

Got any exit poll numbers on the Ollie vs. Jahwn race?" Early returns have Ollie slightly behind, but we're looking for a big turnout after work today!! Thanks fer asking...MUD BTW...Old Dominion FReepers, Please Unite Behind Ollie North as write-In candidate fer Senator of Virginia against the Un-OpposedbyRATS' GentlemanJawn!! Help US Shock the RINO World!!
Mud, you are seriously a riot with all this Ollie North write in stuff. Ollie is a fine man, but I see that the liberal RAT media failed to report his vote totals last night in Virginny. Damn liberal RAT media scum that they are. Warner took this race in a cakewalk what with 84% of the vote.
To: rightwing2
"Warner took this race in a cakewalk what with 84% of the vote." LOL...Yes, GentlemanJawn ran a fine race and deserves congratulations on his capitulation to his little brother, Mark, on the Tax Increases in DeeCee and Tidewater. I just hope Jawn realizes that Virginia deserves two (2) Conservative Republican Senators representing us in Congress, and he needs to start making plans for his political career after he is ousted in the '08 Primary!!
Good work, rw2, and FReegards...MUD
