Voted on the way in to work this am. Straight Repub. I'm in Metairie Louisiana and voted for Susan Terrell(R) and David Vitter(R). Come on Louisiana, let's get rid of Mary Landrieu! Also, calling all pubbies I know to get out and vote!!
To: pettifogger
"I said, "Sorry, Bud, I'm pro-life and I vote!" Black woman going into polling place in front of me chuckled. I took that to mean she agreed with me and was voting Pubbie (was I wrong???)."LOL...I don't think so. PA still has a high number of black, CHRISTIAN Americans who vote pro life. (then again, I'm still in shock that GW didn't carry PA...terminal optimism, I guess)

Just came back from a teacher's workshop in a heavily democratic Long Island school district. NO one at the polls. Poll workers reading books and playing Scrabble.
Go Pataki!!

My husband called and said he's bringing home the wine tonight. I guess he feels Republicans are doing well. LOL. NY is not even in the Senate races!

Good luck out there and thanks for the info.

M/M MM7 Voted at noon in SW Virginia.
The secret ballot still prevails here, but the rally cry was "Go Ollie".
To: Howlin
"I know....I know.......just feeling jitzy today........you're right, of course!"No problem...we all are. It's 2000 campaign/election/recount flashback complicated by Democrat voter/election fraud of the past two months.

BigB checking in from the southern tip of Nashville. Voted for Van Hilleary for Gov., LAMAR! for Senate, and Robert Duvall for Congress. NO lottery. Maybe a dozen folks there when I went; still drizzly outside. Seeing as how Nashville is probably pro-Bredesen, I'm taking this as a hopeful sign.

heheh.. Man 2000... Was that a wild one or what? I got a feeling this one is gonna be pretty wild to. I feel good that Republican voters are out in droves and fighting tooth and nail to remove the last vestiges of the Clinton-Gore era. A vote for a Pub is a vote AGAINST Bill Clinton. A real roller coaster ride, fasten your seatbelt looks like we are going to do it again!

AGAINST Hillary, too!!!
I'm still here, still reading...lol.

Just went and voted in Virginia - we got redistricted into Virgil Goode's territory and it was a pleasure voting for a conservative's conservative, not that Bob Goodlatte isn't a worthy candidate.

I joined the ranks of sanitation engineers for 1142 South Perry Street, Montgomery, AL 36104

My smarter half and I cast TWO STRAIGHT REPUBLICAN VOTES here in
Santa Fe, NEW MEXICO to re-elect SENATOR PETE DOMENICI
To: cake_crumb
I voted..... Texans for the Republican Party.
I know Texas loves GW and want to help him eliminate the Dems who are trying to veto everything.
Just hope the dems will be not start the law suits- it will be a nasty event if that were to happen.

To: Dales; Nathanael Greene
Lousy, gray rainy day in Northeast Metro Atlanta (Duluth)
Arrived at polling place at 1:30 PM.
I am one of only six getting a ballot at that time.
(Though they said it was busy early)
Voted for Sonny, Saxby, and Linder.
Not a straight Republican ticket though...
Voted for Democrat Tommy Irvin for Agricultural Commissioner
(He's been there forever...does a good job...plus my dear, departed daddy liked him)
Voted for some Libertarian for a seat on the Public Service Commission.
A good place for a Libertarian to be, IMHO.
Now pardon me...I have 1279 posts to read to catch up, LOL!
