Okay, you all can eat your hearts out. I get to take my little orange card to a casino and have a FREE buffet. Today is STEAK NIGHT at Main Street Station - inch thick! yum!

I voted straight Republican and YES to legalize marijuana (my protest against how they are taking away our human rights in the name of the WOD and my belief that it should be made available for chronic pain suffers). I also voted for my favorite judge in town ... Jeff Sobel.

There were only 3 voters at my polling place (8:00 am). I asked one of the workers if there were a poll watcher there. He said one showed up at 7:00, told they were one person short, and then left. Big deal. What kind of a poll watcher is that?!! They did not ask for my ID. All they did was make sure my name was on the list. But ... get this ... I was THANKED two different times for showing up to vote. That's sick! But seeing the very poor turnout so far, I guess I can understand why. Six people and no "customers".

God Bless America, and may our prayers for a good outcome today come true. Amen.

Voted straight ticket for the first time, although this is only the second election I've been eligible for.

I was voter # 319 at 12:15 in my downtown Madison, WI neighborhood.

Just voted here in Shreveport. Mary Landrieu, NOT! Poll-workers said turnout was moderate, but expected it to pick up during afternoon all the way til polls close.

I voted here in Berks Co. Pa at 7:00AM. Straight Republican (Fisher, Gekas). Voted NO on the $100 Million
Bond Issue for Volunteer Fire Companies (very politically
incorrect of me).

My husband and I both both voted straight R. I wanted to mark the straight R arrow, but my husband warned me that there had been reports of those votes not registering in some election in the past, so went down the ballot and marked each R individually. More time consuming, but it felt good to mark so many R candidates! Three year old son was happy to get an 'I voted' sticker. My daighters were in a homeschool class and before we dropped them off asked if this was the day we got to vote against Jim 'Bingo' Doyle. Those from WI will understand!

BTW, I teach, and ALL of the teachers at my school that I've run into today (Parent - teacher conference day, no students) have "I've voted" stickers on! Most of them vote conservatively, too!

"I have heard that some of the machines are registering votes as Democratic when the person has voted Republican.Review your vote!"

That's the way I understood it, and therefore am confused as to how much of an actual "problem" it is, or whether it's hype by the media, which won't have anything important to report until 11 PMish EST or tomorrow.

Voted straight Republican. Happy to cast a vote for our very own Freeper, Jay Wolfe for Senator. Voted no on efforts to increase our taxes again. Had a doctor's appointment this morning. We talked about malpractice insurance. He says has doubled every year for past three years and is expected to double again the coming year. It comes out of OUR pocket. I told him, "vote Republican." He said, "that's what I plan to do on my lunch hour." Poll workers said the turnout is better than last election. It's 43 degrees and raining cats and dogs.
