I'll bet the media is already busy typing their reports that Mondale won the debate because he showed his leadership by staying awake through most of it. Poor Coleman. He will have to be absolutely flawless or he will be savaged by these jackals. I said special prayers for him this morning.

While you were watching Bush on Fox, I was forced to stomach inane live remarks from gore on PMSNBC. That man is about as smart as a sack of hair.

That man is about as smart as a sack of hair. He sweats like a pig. Maybe he does it for the dumocrat "ladies."

It's not the "Booger Man". It's the Independent Party candidate. I thought inclusion was based on the percentage of support in the last election. Can't even remember who their canadidate was last time around.

Oh, I love it when FR gets all excited about stuff. My name for this debate is the Debate of the Quick and the Dead,,you know who is quick and who is dead.

Coleman is scheduled to be at a rally in another town at noon. The VIP for this rally is the former NY Mayor. The debate is at 10 AM local time. Norm will have plenty of tiime to get to the Giuliani event.

No one will watch because everyone is at work, so the SOUND BYTES that come out of this will make or break each candidate. Will someone ask Mondale "Did you say at the Dem Convention 'We'll tax their asses off'"?

I can't get over the flooding of memories from the 2000. I hate to admit it, but I am on the edge of tears constantly I know just what you mean. My practical husband went to bed while Dubya was still 50,000 votes ahead, and I stayed up to savor the thrill of victory. Of course, it all went downhill from there.
That night turned into one of the loneliest and most discouraging of my life. The next day in desperation I searched the Net for information, and stumbled across FR. I don't think I could have made it through the emotional roller coaster of the re-count wars without you guys!
I'm already experiencing butterflies (pun intended) in anticipation of tomorrow, esp. knowing the Dems are poised to hit the courts again. But at least this time I won't be facing it alone!

Prediction: Mondale has senior moments, dozes off, and gives a number of incoherent answers. --The Red Star Tribune and Pioneer Press lead Tuesday's editions with headlines that say "Mondale shows vigor, defeats Coleman". Minnesota Proletariat Radio declares Mondale the victor. Local TV stations avoid actual footage of Mondale's lapses into incoherence, and show still pictures of Mondale taken in 1974.
The one thing the Democrats failed to consider is talk radio. The 10:00 AM debate tees the ball up perfectly for Limbaugh, Souceray and the rest.

I am PRAYING Fritz makes a complete A$$ of himself! He beat Reagan in their first debate, IIRC.
Let's hope that was his last hurrah.

I was with Norm and Laurie Coleman last night. I am worried about 3 things:
1. dirty tricks, like his mike turned down too low
2. Norm's voice holding out
3. sound bites on the local news at 6 & 10 pm

I think I just heard on FOX that it has been postponed for a few hours later. Couldn't Fritz get it scheduled for a more convenient time - like tomorrow night after the polls close?

The Red Star Tribune and Pioneer Press lead Tuesday's editions with headlines that say "Mondale shows vigor, defeats Coleman". The Pioneer Press has endorsed Coleman!

The anti-matter kook? ARG!!I watched the "empty chair" debate, and you are correct this guy was an idiot.
How far must a person be removed from reality to support a candidate like this? He looked like an escapee from a mental asylum.

Is there a link for Fox News online? I used to have one...Perhaps C-Span will carry it?
To: eddie willers
He beat Reagan in their first debate, 20 some years ago. Now he's OLD!

The one thing the Democrats failed to consider is talk radio. The 10:00 AM debate tees the ball up perfectly for Limbaugh, Souceray and the rest. The local talk station, KSTP, that also carries Rush, has just announced that they will air the debate live, with followup from the talk show hosts, and Norm Coleman right afterward.
