Can You Believe This

-----Original Message----- From: Jordan at GayAmerica Sent: Thursday, October 30, 2002 2:19 PM To: Hillary Cc: Steve; Bruce Subject: FW: Gay Rights or the Republicans you decide!

President Bush and a Republican House of Representatives are all that stand in the way of gay marriage becoming legal in America, the legal lowering of the age of sexual consent, and the final elimination of "sodomy" laws in all fifty states.

If you don't get out and vote DEMOCRATIC, we as gay Americans will lose our influence to push through gay marriage in the Senate and the right for even gay teens to have sex whenever and with whomever they want. If you vote, Democrats could gain control of the House! Imagine Barney Frank as Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. It would be a far cry from the days of Henry Hyde. They'll be no stopping us!

Right now, Jim Jeffords (Thank goodness for Vermont!), Tom Daschle, and our Democratic friends in the Senate are all that is stopping President Bush from getting his judicial nominees on the bench. Bush-appointed judges are the last thing sexually diverse people want.

Whether you are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered, or just sympathetic towards our rights, please get out and vote Democratic this November 5th!

Whether the Democratic Senate candidate is gay-friendly or not, you need to vote for that Democrat. When push comes to shove, new Senate and House members follow the leadership, and the Democratic leadership are ALWAYS in our corner!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if openly gay married couples lived on every block and in every apartment building in America!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if your child had an openly gay teacher!

Wouldn't be wonderful if every word that attacks our rights was a crime!

It'll never happen unless you get out and vote Democratic November 5th!

Please forward this to every Democrat you know!

If anyone has any influence on conservative friends, PLEASE make sure that they vote. I just heard on the radio that in Hildago County, TX - 16,000 illegal or dead voters have just been identified.

Folks, it's really serious this time. Let's Roll

WARNING! DON'T CLICK ON THE LINK!

I joined up just to post this, then I'm going back to lurking.

If you clicked on the link, run your anti-virus program. At the very least, clear your browser cache.

My anti-virus program popped up a warning about a script/exploit when I got to the porn page. When I ran my scanner, it found a "Script/Exploit" in my Temporary Internet Files folder.

I have no idea what this thing might do; it might even be a false alarm. But better safe than sorry.

Yes, I believe it.

I've tried like hell to warn the rest of you.

It's all for the children.

Again - I did not make this up. I'm not that devious, as are not most conservatives who have to work for a living. I just thought that I should get it out here to people who care about the future of our country and not the future of their paychecks or their right to sodomize the spotted owls, should the urge arise.

We still need to ROLL on Tuesday.

Apologies up to anyone who clicked what I thought was a fictious, lodwick made it up, link - when I tried to post to breaking, politics, and government threads, I was required by the system to provide a URL - so I made this up without checking to see where it would lead.

It was not my intention to have any of my friends click on some bizarre site.

I live close enough to Ithaca to tell you, if it is a hoax, it's a failed hoax.

This is what they write to one another. This is how they advertise to one another.

Sorry Northern, there are no words here that would never be used by homo's when conversing with one another, or with other True Believers.

I happen to think it's a hoax, spawn of the subterranean world of slash-and-burn politics, and I'm entitled to my opinion on the subject.

Yeh. It's a great idea.

Oooh, ick!
This is one disgusting memo isn't it?
How can their "friends in the democratic party" really feel good about the kinds of things they are suggesting? If they really do, they are even more morally defected than I thought.

Here in Oregon, Republican Gordon Smith has had a spot with Judy Shepard endorsing him. She goes as far as saying her murdered in Wyoming gay son Mathew would have liked Gordon too.

On other spots, he lauds his commitment towards stopping hate crimes against gays.

My only point here is that this is a Republican here who is playing footsie with gays and lesbians. People like him deserve to be responded to if they take a pandering stand, not just the Democrats who do.

No problem. You might also want to check out some Bayes filtering software. The idea behind it is for the software to analyze an email and ascertain the probability that it's spam based on the text. In other words, if an email contains a bunch of pornographic phrases, odds are it's spam, whereas if it's talking about your aunt and uncle's vacation to Tahiti, it's probably not.
