Here in Oregon, Republican Gordon Smith has had a spot with Judy Shepard endorsing him. She goes as far as saying her murdered in Wyoming gay son Mathew would have liked Gordon too.
On other spots, he lauds his commitment towards stopping hate crimes against gays.
My only point here is that this is a Republican here who is playing footsie with gays and lesbians. People like him deserve to be responded to if they take a pandering stand, not just the Democrats who do.
I know - W has reached out to the LogCabinRepublicans...good grief. Anything to stay in power no matter the cost to the country and our way of life. Like the dims say, "Whatever it takes to win."
