I seriously doubt the election clerk in that last incident was a Republican. Contrary to the implications of this article, Texas does NOT register voters by political party. And even if they did, why would a republican direct not one but two GOP voters to punch straight ticket 'rat and turn the dial to the D straight ticket selection for them?

Straight party voting in one action should not be legal. All and all I am afraid that this election is going to be nothing more than one giant fraud. Well, in Wisconsin I voted yesterday morning because I'm working at the polls on election day. Our newly remodeled City Hall offers no place to fill out your ballot in private. The clerk stood right over me and watched me fill in all the little ovals. She knows every vote I cast and even knows that I wrote in a candidate's name instead of voting for one of the printed choices. After she finished watching me, she watched my husband.

They have a simple tutorial on how to use the machine. As I suspected, you can't choose an entire party slate. You have to select and hit 'enter' on each race, and you have a chance to review and modify at the end.

You are so wrong. My registration card was stamped "Republican" during a primary when I asked for the Republican ballot. I have the same card this election with the "Republican" stamped on it.

One of Algore's biggest Florida corporate supporters was a "Republican" and a "Freeper". Of course he said on his website that no candidate had ever matched his posistions on all of the issues as Algore had. He joined up to FR to defend Algore during the 2000 "recount".

Just because one votes in the Republican primary does not make one a conservative or a "republican". And just because one posts on FR doesn't indicate allegiance either.

NAACP is getting out the felon vote in Fl. They say it's not their job to stop the ballots if they're invalid. If they're not caught, they're a legal vote.
Fl. has caught 11 so far, but a new report says 16 more yesterday. I'm sure there's lots more. Some will probably get through.

In Texas, democrats run as Republicans or they will not be elected. Judges are elected in Texas and the system is full of liars about their political leanings.

If you're a die hard voter like, you check their rulings and background. There is a Judge Harris in Ft. Worth, a republican in name and deed, one of the best human beings on the planet, so I'm taking the opportunity to put in a plug for him.
