*HOT* New Democratic Last-Ditch Plot To Steal Election (MUST READ)

*HOT* New Democratic Last-Ditch Plot To Steal Election. . . split conservatives (MUST READ)
Suddenly, many holding themselves out as Libertarians and conservatives have popped up, out of the blue, on a Friday before an election on Free Republic, other message boards, and talk radio with inane suggestions that Conservatives and Republicans throw out their votes and vote for Libertarians or for gridlock (Democrats).
Is this a desperate 11th hour attempt to damper the Republican vote and suppress the Republican base? If anyone was listening to the Sean Hannity show, this Democratic Strategy was very apparent.

Thanks again, Duchess, but I don't think anybody would publish my scribblings. Conservative pundits are a dime a dozen.
Now if I could just finish a book...

"On the Plains of Hesitation,
bleach the bones of countless millions who,
at the dawn of victory,
sat down to wait,
and waiting,
died."
VOTE REPUBLICAN!!

I think somebody would publish your "scribblings". (AHEM.) They are exceptional. Period.

What imbecile would call himself a conservative, say we should vote Democrat this year, and admit he voted for Clinton in 1996??? This is nothing new. These guys have been coming out of the woodwork in every election I can remember. The story is always the same, they claim to be a republican who is voting for a dem "this time." Dig a little and you find that they have never actually voted for a republican or had anything to do with republicans. (Or the only republican they have ever voted for was to the left of Lenin.)

Do they honestly think this will work ?
To: jmstein7
OF course it is a Democrat strategy. I noticed that too. It is quite transparent here on FR even...I only hope it doesn't work. Since not even many conservatives know if a libertarian is running in their area, I doubt it will have much of an effect.

Great comments! Thanks for posting them.

Yes, I'll be holding my nose on Tuesday as I vote for nothing but R.I.N.O.'s. Here in the Peoples Republic of Connecticut there really is no difference between them. They are all tax and spend liberals( aka Communists). I'll take Rowland over the socialist/sodomite supporting/gun grabbing/union butt-kissing RINO Pataki anyday of the week.

The odds of any post changing anyone's vote on this site on anything in a general election are just about nil. LOL. What a waste of energy.

Voting straight GOP in every state and national race with the exception of governor. I would throw up in the voting booth if I pulled the lever for Pataki.

The only imbicile I can think of is a democRAT!
No self-respecting conservative would ever vote for a democRAT - at least not any in the current crop.
Just think about this:
If the dems were so sure of their position, why would they be bothering with this scheme??
If their views and issues were the best, why would they have to resort to this tactic to get votes??
Just laugh - and vote Republican!!

Janet Reno's AG performance should be sufficient evidence that there's a difference between the parties. Anyone that doesn't know that probably shouldn't be left alone with power tools.

I said much the same elsewhere.
You said it better.

Way to go, Long Cut! I wish I'd had your way with words over the past few months when numerous FReepers kept whining and threatening to vote for a third party in a futile attempt to teach the RINO's a lesson.
To: Clemenza
Excuse me, but my R.I.N.O. is just as bad as your R.I.N.O.
On every position that you mentioned there is no difference between the two.

Another GREAT post, Long Cut. Thanks for the ping. Was gone yesterday--so didn't respond. Glad I didn't miss this one. I copied it and plan on using it when 'necessary'....with full credit to you of course!
