Maybe you got it from my post on another thread.
I got my information from a coworker who used to be a 5%er because her live-in boyfriend was.
When she left him, she left them - and she told me quite a bit about the group.

The Five Percenters are real and active in all african communities. A family friend is quite familiar with their ideas and actually believes them. Pitiful!

Fox News is playing a recording of Malvo's phone call to Rockville City Police on Oct 15. They did not call the Tip line. Rockville tried to refer them to the tip line, caller hung up.

Don't take it personally, I was really expressing my frustration with the "Mainstream" media and not any FR postings. I am actually grateful for FR and all those who post so others can get more information often not easily available. My take is that the story about J. Mohammed's theorized 5%er connection is just another attempt to paint him as some one not a part of the "Religion of Peace" and that the "Religion of Peace" has nothing to do with it, just as repeating that he is a Gulf War Veteran. See Coulte's column if interested

One idea forwarded that the "I am God" statement on the Tarot Card was in response to the talking heads on TV, of which one or more experts said the then unknown perp "thinks he's God."

Is this Five Percenter story disinformation du jour? The Five Percenter connection is not improbable, but this story (and others)seek to disassociate it from the NOI and Islam, and to make the NOI somehow more respectable because it is moving toward mainstream Islam, that wonderful religion of international peace...
This article gives a good picture of the relationship of NOI and the Five Percenters -- and it is not a positive one.

An terrorist influenced by Islam is, by any other name, still an Islamic terrorist....

Being involved in 5% is not necessarily mutually exclusive with considering yourself Muslim, or being allied with Muslims, or being in the pay of Muslims
To: Behind Liberal Lines
Five Percenters that much of the Nation of Islam ideology is based not on mainstream Islamic beliefs but on theories of black supremacyThe newest version of political correctness is to not insult anyone by failing to differentiate their particular form of Satanism.

When she left him, she left them - and she told me quite a bit about the group. Could you post what you know?
To: Behind Liberal Lines
Who cares whether they're 5 Percenters, or Nation of Islam or Wahhabists or whatever else...they're TERRORISTS, and a terrorist by any other name is...a TERRORIST. (Williams/Muhammad was a member of the Nation of Islam, and deacon's comments are pure conjecture.)
To: Behind Liberal Lines
are the 5%'ers also NAMBLA types?
To: Behind Liberal Lines
This means he is Islamic, but there's that little meaning of the word "is."
Was he Islamic back then that was the "is" then, or "is" he Islamic that is the "is" now?
Therefore, he must be an Islamic maybe not.

did hispanarepublica change her handle? Its hispanarepublicana

Sorry...the CHAPLAIN'S comments are pure conjecture.
To: Behind Liberal Lines
He says that today's Nation of Islam, headed by Louis Farrakhan, is moving closer to the worldwide Islamic mainstream. Oh that's comforting.
