Unspun ^
Posted on 10/30/2002 5:39:21 PM PST by AnnaZ
Next Tuesday, November 5th, we'll be airing RADIOFR's "An Unspun Election Night 3-Hour Special".
We're looking for FReople to call in, from east to west, as polls close nationwide. Campaign workers, poll volunteers or just plain ol' political junkies are welcome to apply.
Post here, or FReepmail me.
Thanks!

I'm going to be poll watching. (7AM-8PM Detroit Time). I don't know where exactly I'll be watching, but it's likely to be on the "wrong side of town'.

Good for you! Make sure to have a cell phone and possibly a videocamera with you to capture any fraud or electioneering going on.

Count me in as a reporter from Northern "Crook County", Illinois - home of the Daley-style vote fraud system.

Count me in -- North Central San Antonio reporter...that's me. I live in Republican Congressman Henry Bonilla's district.

I'd love to, but I'm going to be the election judge in my precinct come Tuesday. I originally asked to be a poll watcher at my polling place, but it was discovered that no one had applied for the election judge post, so I took the opportunity. I've still got to hire a couple of clerks before Tuesday; I'll likely do that today.
If permitted under my state's law, I will take my laptop and try to make some "in the eye of the storm" posts as I election judge.

I am also a Judge in my precinct, and have to give the results to the local media when we close, which is 6 p.m.
I'll come home, open a bottle of champagne, and log on.
November 5th is gonna be a wonderful evening for anyone who loves this country and is concerned about its security.

Thanks so much to each of you for replying, and apologies for the time it has taken to get back to you.
I will keep this going until Monday evening, and then schedule the callers vis a vis locations/time zones -- feel free to FReepmail this info to me.
It's going to be FUN!
