Take a look a this video shot by a FOX 23 videographer. It is the UFO in Albany, but it looks like a missle to me.

Is this the same UFO that stuck TWA flight 800????
To: prisoner6
It could also be a powered drone. The ones I've seen don't look like what's on the tape, but I'm sure there's plenty of different types.

I don't have a Jane's on me, but my guess is a Tomahawk missile and I'm a lot more sure it's a MD-80/90 series, note the double engines mounted at the rear sides of the fuselage.

I've seen it and based on my 26 years of dodging and observing such missles and other like ordnance I will suggest it was not any form of "weapon" I have ever seen or experienced. Doesn't mean that such does not exist just because I have not personally witnessed such a munition . It's just that most "known" surface to air and or air to air missles don't move in such a manner as seen in this video clip.
Stay Safe !

Too many public school FReepers using million man math. To figure out whether it is possible to be a missile, first estimate the distance from the camera, based on the assumed length of the missile (there are only a few possibilities). Then you can estimate the distance covered in the available time -- based on the frames per second.
These objects (and they showed up on 911 film coverage) have got to be close to the camera and small, IMHO.

What's a missle?
To: Kerberos
Yeah but this insect looks like it has two sets of fins on it. Wings flapping.

Thanks for you input. I value your oppinion greatly. BTW-I'm from Kermit, my folks went to high school together and have been happily married for 45 years. We escaped Kermit in 1964 and moved to Houston.LOL

G'mornin'!
My husband said that, while it looks to him like a missle (in Viet Nam he saw quite a few SAMs up close and personal), it "is easy to make things up, digitally, with today's technology." The last part of that sentence is a quote from his email to me.
As for me, I certainly hope it isn't a missle. I would appreciate you keeping me updated on this, should you hear anything additionally.

Mornin back at you. Tell him thanks for me and if I find anything else out about this "ufo" I'll will ping you. At this point I'm not sure what to think, so many various opinions. I still think it looks like a missle, but where did it fall?
To: spycatcher
That is an interesting film clip. The object moving accross the screen seems to move like a bird in flight, not so smoothly with some "up and down" changes in altitude. My guess is that it is a bird somewhere between the camera and the city.
What really gets to me about the video is that at the very beginning there is a dot just to the right of the right tower, and then it moves into the tower and explodes. That is the second plane hitting the towers.

I was making cheese with my sister once and a moose chased us into the shower, I'm series!

You're right, I stand ashamed! But you know what I meant even if I didn't know how to articulate it! It does not look like a SPACE SHIP, more like a flying stick.
