OMG! Did anyone else just hear Dick Morris say the President is acting like a p_ssy????
Exactly...I wish the President would publicly slap the sh*t out of the French, but I have no criticism what so ever of his campaigning. He needs to be out there everyday between now and election day...his Presidency is on the line and it's not too melodramatic to say that if the dim's keep the Senate he could be a lame duck for the next two years. He gives candiates a 2-5% bump in the polls everywhere he goes...I'd be VERY suspicious of any polls that show his numbers slipping. And even if they are...so what?
Yep. NO complaints from Freepers about that. Let's look at the record:
1. What has Bush done about Hillary's verbal attacks, including the one where se said he was "selected," not "elected"?
2. What has Bush done about Saudi Arabia? he has bent over backwards to appease them, even though they continually spit in our faces
3. What has Bush done about standing up to Mexico, and Vincente Fox?
4. What has he done about illegal immigration?
5. What did he do when the news came out regarding the State Dept.'s $10,000-$15,000 RAISE for those responsible for giving Mohammed Atta and others student visas?
6. Islam is a "peaceful" religion...then he gives Mohammed Siddiq (a "peaceful" muslim cleric caught by Fox News a year earlier chanting "Death to America!" in the streets) top billing in his 9/11 memorial service.
7. Has he really fought for his judicial nominies?
8. Did he really campaign for Gubernatorial and Congressional candidates as well as he should have?
9. France? China? The UN? Daschle? the Education bill. the FBI/Kennedy incident...
Morris is RIGHT. It may have been out of place to say that, but he is FRUSTRATED, like a lot of us are. I'm glad he said what he said. Hopefully it will light a fire under the aSSes of some important people in the administration. I doubt it. It will probably mean the blacklisting of Morris.
The press threw a hissy fit about that comment.
Governor Bush appoligized that his comment went out over a "hot" microphone but he did not retract the comment itself.

Thankyou MFH. I agree. He's been pandering to the globalists on too many issues, it's time to fish or cut bait. I said two months ago, that he'd better get with the program and stop the dithering or he'd lose the support of the American public. It's coming true...the poll ratings prove it. We're tired of the rhetoric.
Morris is an astute analyst. He's seldom wrong, unlike most of the pundits.
I do too; he said because Bush was going around campaigning for everybody, the numbers have dropped for him because he is no longer "looking presidential," he is looking like "a politican." He is taking the focus away from his claim of concern about Iraq by traveling around the country, making it seem like everything's okay....so people are going to be thinking, "well, this situation with Iraq must not be as serious as Bush is saying, so we'll just start focusing on domestic issues." Then when Morris mentioned the pandering to France stuff, I think that he was saying the combination of the two are hurting him....and then Morris said the "p" word. (Now don't flame me rintense, I'm not saying I approve of him saying that, but I bet that this will get Bush's attention!)
No. He's been saying that for months.
Yeah....I don't think "Dick" would work.
I had high hopes for Bush when he was elected. I thought we finally had a Washington outsider there to defend middle America and the Constitution-loving people who live there. Unfortunately he's turned out to be no different than noodle-spined Repubs like Trent Lott.
Why do you think his approval numbers are continually dipping? I'll tell you why...it's because people are starting to catch on to his gig. They're starting to realize that he's not a man of his word. He goes whichever way the polls dictate he goes.
Keep holding his feet to the flames. He needs it.
