"I'll bet it gets edited out." I'll bet it does too.

There are only a few words I cringe upon hearing. What Dickie boy said is one of them. Maybe it's a regional thing or something, but most women I know LIKE the word......they think it's cute.
And ya gotta admit....it sure beats the C-word.

Heard the comment! Morris is wrong on three counts:
1.) The President's approval ratings are falling. Yes, LAST week's Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll determined that the President's approval numbers were at 60%; however, last week's NBC/WallStreet Journal poll placed the President's approval numbers at 63% (a number they labelled extremely HIGH), and USAToday/CNN/Gallup placed the President's approval numbers at 67%. Additionally today's Ipsos-Reid/Cook Political Report placed the President's approval rating at 64% (a 2% increase from their last poll). [Approval Rating Benchmarks: At this point in their respective presidencies, Reagan and Clinton had approval ratings in the low 40s]
2.) The President shouldn't campaign. As Post reporter Deb Orin indicated last week, Republican pollsters have determined that the President's visits have been providing candidates with a 2-6% BUMP which lasts any where from 2-6 days -- a critical assist for those candidates engaged in tight races. [By-the-by, wasn't Morris one of the pundits who criticized the President for not campaigning more for the governorships we lost last fall?!]
3.) The President should refrain from allowing France to dictate our Iraq policy. Dick, Dick, Dick, as yet another Post reporter noted over the weekend, the President obviously had a pre-determined timeframe in mind when he went to the UN. As his rhetoric this weekend and in today's speeches indicates, the UN is now pushing the limits of this timeframe. The President is deftly but firmly preparing the American people/the world for multilateral action against Iraq that will circumvent the UN -- a decision/announcement he seems prepared to make later this week. [NOTE: Morris knows this and is only pontificating tonight so that he can claim prescience on Friday!]

I'll bet it gets edited out. Let us know! Wouldn't be hard to make "Wussy".

If too vulgar for TV, or even to be spelled correctly, then why a thread on it? A chance for all the prudes to cover mouths with hands and make little tittering sounds?

Rest assured, and this is to no one in particular, the build up of armed forces in the gulf region goes on quietly day and night.
Remember how our President kept his composure and did not wet all over himself when puff daddy daschle had his temper tantrum in the well of the senate ? These spineless so called (third world) leader wanna be's, do not ruffle our President's feathers one iota. W will lead. They can follow or get the hell out of the way. Home grown or foreign, war protestors be damned ! W is cool like ice. THEY DID NOT LEAD, WE WILL.
Remember- WE will choose the time and the place. Bush's poll numbers can sink to 25% for all he cares (and for all I care), he will do what is best for America.
GEEZ...there are about enough fickle hand wringers over here tonight. Take a deep breath.
This isn't going to be a Bill Clinton knee jerk reaction. This is going to be what a superpower does after it has shown mercy upon an ungrateful world that has savagedly murdered it's citizens for the last 30 plus years, nearly with impunity, and now... this nation is going to unsheath it's sword.

Isn't a coroner's report a prerequisite to vote Democrat? It is in most places. Take my dead grandfather for instance.....

Today (10/28), Gallup has Bush with a 67% approval rating. Yesterday Dick Morris said, "Bush's approval numbers are in FreeFall" , he is down to 60%, for the reason mention above... (campaigning for others he loses his presidential respect).
Don't know if he mentioned the poll (other the other important details) but the implication is it was just out yesterday. I am Relieved to hear the Gallup numbers (do you know the date)?

100,000 reservists should indicate that the time is coming soonIf he's playing to win domestically as well as abroad, that date better be before the election. Time to snap everybody's attention back to what's important: getting rid of the terrorist scum. We all know it's gonna happen sooner or later, might as well use it to its fullest advantage. I would.
I think Morris is right, too. Bush should stop wasting time appeasing France and other countries that don't like us much. European countries are ticked at us over tax harmonization, for one thing.

Maybe it's a regional thing or something, but most women I know LIKE the word......they think it's cute. Didn't anyone here ever see the Brit show, Are You Being Served? Mrs. Slocombe was always referring to her pussy (as in her cat) but always meant it precisely for the double entendre.

I changed my mind, I think Dicky boy is trying to screw us over, I was thinking he let the word slip out out of frustration cause he was on "our side", and here, dicky boy, the "Ultimate Poll Watcher" tries to convince Bush to not campaign for people...hmmmmmmm???
And to think I almost fell for it, im loosing it in my old age.
