Prayer Request: Wife has Melanoma

About a week and half ago, my wife had a doctors appointment. He found some "questionable moles on her back. They were removed and sent for testing. This morning, we got a call from the doctor. All of the moles tested turned out to be melanoma. She was referred to another doctor and we now must deal with these, plus other moles which may be cancerous. We don't know if its made its way into the lymphatic system. Until we see the doctor and have more test run, all we can do is wait and pray.

It is with humility and love, you are asking for us to pray for your wife. It is done.

Read the replies of the faithful, RayBob, and see how God's benefit package includes healing for your physical body. Will you believe it and receive it? You must..don't let a negative word leave your lips. Say over and over again, "My wife will be healed, it is God's Will that she be healed, he promised it". Dig in and stand firm. Don't say "if it is God's will she is healed" NO! Say "IT is God's will she be healed. Don't waiver from this, speak it as tho it were already done. Negative words can stop God's healing powers for all of us..

"My son, attend to my words, incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh" (Proverbs 4:20).

God has gives us the word to bring life and to bring health. We have the heavenly prescription for good health: attend to the Word by listening to it (which implies obeying it), reading it , and meditating on it. God is always wanting to improve your condition by giving you health for all your flesh.

Trust in his word.

Thank you all, for your prayers and words of support. The initial news floored me. It landed on my heart with a great thud. I was full of dispair when I posted my prayer request. I know that prayer works. I know that God's love can heal us, both physically and emotionally.

When I first heard the news, I was filled with dread. I prayed and asked my friends at FR to pray as well. As the morning progressed, I could feel the dispair slipping away. I know that the burden was being lifted. Soon, the dispair was replaced with hope. The power of your prayers lifted my heart.

We have met with the specialist. The news is far better than the first word. Two of the three moles were "pre-cancerous" and were well on their way to becoming malignant, but they were removed early enough. The third was malignant, and Lisa will undergo a second procedure to remove the surrounding tissue, but the good news was that it was still a very early stage. There are still a number of other moles that need to be removed and checked, but so far, there is no sign that the cancer has moved to any organs or lymph nodes.

Please keep Lisa in your prayers as we still have a long journey ahead. Thank you again for all of your prayers and your support.
