In a classic tale of what goes around comes around, members of the National Association of Cosmetologists have demanded an apology from Jesse Jackson for similarly demanding an apology AND prompt editing by the makers of the hit movie "Barbershop". In it, blacks joked about the self-serving motivations of civil rights leaders such as Rosa Parks. The Association will sue Jackson for defamation of character if he does not apologize for harming the futures of black film makers with his previous abrasive demands. Association leader Stern told Reuters his group had screened the film, and the 100 or so African-American cosmetologists at the screening found nothing offensive about the movie.

The odds of Jesse's backing down seem next to nil, so we just might see a lawsuit emerge against him by those he pretends to serve. Why was he against Barbershop's jokes, though? Perhaps Jesse's afraid of civil rights leaders' potentially becoming increasingly scrutinized by fellow blacks, for fear of a slippery slope? But Jesse doesn't have anything to hide from them, does he???

Perhaps Jesse is increasingly perceived by fellow blacks as approaching being as far out on the fringe as (now OUSTED) U.S. Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, a Farrakhan ally?

Why doesn't the IRS ever audit Jesse, though?

Oh no! If enough people start seeing through Jessies shakedowns, he might actually have to get a real job and support himself and his various families! :-)

(now OUSTED) U.S. Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, She hasnt been ousted yet. I suspect it will take armed Captial Hill police to remove her ass from her office.
To: ladyinred
Why would African Americans see fit to stand up to Jesse, though?
To: Phantom Lord
McKinney's father was ousted by fellow Georgia African Americans too. Maybe they'll have a sit-in on inauguration day though, like you suggest.

"A Jackson spokeswoman was not immediately available to comment. "LOL. There's a first, unless you count the quiet time the poverty pimp, er, Reverend JJ needed to "heal" when his love child was revealed...

One has to wonder how many such scandals have yet to be revealed about Jesse, because his authority has been unquestioned by his own people for decades. Maybe that's about to change?
To: End The Hypocrisy
It is changing. Je$$e has been totally marginalized and the shakedown racket (by him and Hatebow/PUSH at least) is ending. The Reverend Al is after JJ's main seat as Poverty Pimp No. 1. Better late than never....

We've heard "it's the economy, stupid" over and over again. But THIS is the issue that's going to drive the election process for the next 20 years, in my opinion. Nearly all Americans are getting tired of this politically correct nonsense, and the backlash is going to be huge.
Look at the popularity of the non-PC crowd: Rush, O'Reilly, etc. Look at how any pompous PC windbag evokes a reaction of eyes-rolling except by the most liberal of the libs. I'm telling you, the backlash has already started and has plenty of room to go.

Ah, so a turf war's brewing with Reverend Al (who is, I understand, NOT actually an ordained minister). Al's apparently running for U.S. president in 2004. This could get interesting, especially if Jesse misses the limelight.

Maybe they'll have a sit-in on inaugurationLOL...I can just see that. And Harry Belafonte can entertain.

CNN puts out an article I
want to read, and a new movie comes out that I
want to see.
I'd better go buy lottery tickets. Today's my lucky day.
To: reformed_democrat
What's the movie? Jackson (Mississippi) Cosmetologists Shakedown Jesse? :-)
To: End The Hypocrisy
I'd pay to see that one, too. :)

"Ah, so a turf war's brewing with Reverend Al "
Al was in London last week ( wonder where Clinton was ?)
It was good to see him pushing his own luggage cart.
