This is outrageous!
The truth is that
1. Islamics blew up the World Trade Center
2. Islamics blew up a wing of the Pentagon in which many members of the ARMY died.
3. Islamics blew up the USS Cole in which US military died.
4. Islam is the issue with Al Quaeda and Bin Laden.
This man is JOHN MUHAMMED, an Islamic who was "sympathetic" to the 9/11 terrorists.
He's been out of the Army for years. He never received specialized training in sniping in the Army. He DIDN'T MAKE IT in the Army.
But the lead is: "Army Vet"
As a 20 year Army retiree, I deeply resent this, but I resent even more the politically correct culture that makes it impossible to call an islamic terrorist an islamic terrorist.
Both you guys have serious trouble with reading comprehension. I was indicating a desire to know, if he had connections to Islamic terrorist organizations. I never said anything about understanding. Get some new eyewear and check out my post at RE:#33. Then shut up already.
My money is still on his inherent decency.
Thus, he'd better pound the !&#@ out of them soon.

They are just Islemmings, racing for a cliff, and are too stupid to see it.
We are very indulgent in the West, but if our neighbor's nasy terrier keeps running out and biting our ankle, sooner or later we will drop kick that mutt into tomorrow.
Wirestripper.......12d40 Combat Engineer, Expert M-14,16 and grenade (and now apparently a trained sniper as well!)
Who woulda thunk it!
It's not likely that he is Al Qaeda. He may or may not be a "wannabe". But he clearly is a loser, sociopathic killer. Apparently not as sophisticated as we thought. Just lucky. You give him too much credit to call him a terrorist, he's just a crazy serial killer killing for sport.
As he spent most of his life as a soldier and his army training explains his shooting abiltiy to most non-military citizens, it is not an unusual descriptor. As for your feeling that it is a slur against the army, well thats your supersensitive interpretation.
You overlooked the preferred solution....
WE KILL THEM.

The part that I find even more hilarious, OF COURSE HE IS QUALIFIED AT SOME LEVEL ON A RIFLE!!! He was in the F*(&!ng Army!!!! He better KNOW how to use a rifle.
For Pete's sake, I made expert more times than I can count on range..It got so old, my buddies and I used to go to the e-club the night prior to see who could get the most plowed and still shoot expert the next day. I know, bad example, but nonetheless, I still hold multiple award expert badges (hey, you never know when the enemy is going to throw Guiness at ya! )
This conflict we've been engaged in, with Islamic fundamentalists, has lasted now for some 23 years, ever since the Iranian Revolution of 1979. This latest round of terror attacks against America, will only further fuel the fire against Islam and Muslim's in general. A quick look back.

Sometimes they bangalor a fence.
They are combat support. But being expert with an m16 is good but not great....about 25-33% do it.
Exactly! It's no big deal. Just some crap on your class As that everyone else has.
That's just the recent history.
I can still remember right after 9-11, when President Bush called the military action in Afhganistan, a crusade. That really seemed to piss off everyone. I thought it was great.
But yes, it is a combat support role. No doubt about it.( especially nice when we got the hot coffee and showers) LOL!
