I think if you do a GOOGLE SEARCH on Ladin you will see it is spelled that way too....remember the USAMA vs OSAMA...those raghead terrorists can't spell...LOL!!!

Either spelling is correct. "bin Ladin" in the original Arabic character-set can be translated into many different Latin-alphabet spellings. Something like all the various spelling changes for the name of the capital of China Peking/Peiping/Beijing/whatever

I've seen it in some publications like al Jazeera where it was spelled 'in', and they pronounced it more like bin Ladeen, also..those arabs that is.

the whole business of trying to spell arabic words and names "correctly" is such a silly game, and it is amusing to watch the PC morons in the media bicker and dicker endlessly between Koran and Qu'ran and Kadaffi and Quadafi and... you get the point. Arabic words and names are correctly spelled by means of indescipherable squiggly lines. What WE use are phonetic translations into English using the modernised Roman alphabet. The "most correct" spelling is that which most closely approximates the sound of the word while obeying the rules of use of the Roman alphabet (eg: a non-terminal "Q" is always yo be followed by "U" etc...)
