The "experts" who said the sniper was a right-wing white guy and the anthrax (vanity)
Oct. 24 2002 | Michael2001

While not all evidence is in, it looks like the sniper was a Muslim. Huge surprise to some.

All the newsmedia talking heads and the "expert" profilers, have been saying the sniper was a white domestic right-wing domestic. Even as more evidence mounted that this could possibly be terrorism, the networks did all they could to steer clear of it.

Freepers have been saying this was Islamic terrorism since day one. I guess that makes the Freepers smarter than the people whose job it is to profile. But we're really not smarter we just have common sense, and we're not afraid to be un-PC. We are at war with Islam, and anybody who tries to pretend that we're not is a fool.

One of the anthrax mailings said something along the lines of "death to america, death to israel, allah is great". This led the experts to believe that this is a domestic right wing terrorist. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that just like in the sniper case, the "experts" are wrong. We're at war with Islam here people, wake up.

Bingo! That's the guy. I kept trying to think of the name but that is the one for sure.

That would be quite a video, unfortunately it would be suppressed and would have to be sold in plain white boxes by cab drivers and at gun shows.

"Wow, I've got to remember your name if you make future FR prognostications. From what we now know, you got the following right:"

I wouldn't follow my prognostications too closely, I adamantly accused my wife of losing my car keys today. She found them in my coat pocket. ;-)

"...In connection with the sniper case, however, the FBI reportedly is searching "Camp Ground Zero USA" in Marion, Ala., a militant Islamic training camp with possible links to al-Qaida...."

CNN reported a few minutes ago that the camp was not searched.

Notice the camp owner said nothing about Malvo. Williams already had his training courtesy of the US Army. Maybe he sent Malvo there to get him "up to speed". Also, some paper found at the Alabama crime scene was linked to Malvo. So he can be placed in the area.

Excuse me, but has anyone mentioned the concept yet that this is, at its most base level, a HATE crime?

There's a problem with that. The sniper, whoever he is, shot and killed people of more then one race. mafree knew one of the victims, I believe. He was black.

(Thanks for the ping) Three of the people killed and one of the wounded were Black males. I'm not sure what to make of all this right now.

Annie, I truly do not understand your position. If he is just an angry black American, converted to Islam, and he
shoots and kills dozens of people in the US, does that mean he is not a terrorist? It then becomes just a hate crime and that is somehow better than being a terrorist? Are we not at war with all murdering terrorists? I thought I heard President Bush declare war on all terrorists everywhere. He would have been a terrorist if he was as white as milk and a baptist!

It is also hard for me to understand how anyone can not see that Islam and their religion of peace is the culprit. That some Muslims live peacefully and are not terrorists (yet) is nice. Even some of these nice Muslims raise money for terrorists and their organizations. And undoubtedly the ones that truly oppose terrorism are nice folks.

Whether or not he was trained in an Arabian terrorist camp he and his Jamacian cohort are terrorists! Because his teenage murdering partner is from a foreign country, he now become an international terrist, no matter how he came to shooting innocent people.

This man was a practicing Muslim who admired the boys that flew those planes into our buildings. He undoubetedly thought he would show his support for them by attacking citizens of the great satan, or else he was incredibly bored with life and looking for a little sport.

You amaze me with your stance. Do you want them coddled because you don't see a connection to Bin Laden? The connection is his motivation, Islam.

Not Islamic terrorism....not a practicing Muslim....just a couple of angry black criminals.

If they were Nazi skinheads, you would not be excusing all the rest of the Nazis from their actions.

What would a homegrown Nazi be? You're trying to stay very politically correct, Nazis are somehow bad because they tend to be blond blue eyed people, because Muslims are dark but otherwise very similar it's completely different. All Muslim groups operating in the US, especially their militias should have been thoroughly investigated after Sept 11, 2001. The innocent people died because of political correctness.

See Zebra Killings which took place a long time ago, but which indicate that Black Muslims have acted as serial killers before, and directly implicate the Nation of Islam.

Your post #209 had such a good read linked to it that I'll repost it: DAGESTAN: FOCUS ON PAKISTAN'S TABLIGHI JAMAAT .

We should all become much more educated about the methods and world-wide goals of TJ, it is FAR more dangerous than is commonly reported.

"Unless we are suggesting that all American Muslims in this country should be rounded up and made prisoners."

Internment camps, whether you agree with them or not, were effective in WWII. It just depends how large the threat becomes within our borders.

Why are you calling the man Williams? Respect his name change to Muhammad.

Unless, of course, you are unwilling to confront that name and the reality it represents.

There's a reason people are jumping on your case. If you had simply said there's no real organization here, then you would have found agreement. But to assert that the name is Williams and not Muhammad and that a man obviously regarded as Muslim is not actually a Muslim...well, you look ridiculous.

You sound like that disruptor _Jim who refused to acknowledge the fact that the man was named Muhammad. Why people disrupt in that manner, I don't know, but I think we can take some guesses.

I had never heard of these killings. Considering how many victims they had and the motive, you'd think this would go down in American history.

But I forgot for a minute that this is post-1960s America. Oops.

Interesting also the lack of condemnation from that community, sounds similar to another community in the US that seems more interested in complaining about being inconvenienced than aligning with Good.

Are you ruling out that this guy might be a black muslim American who is homegrown criminal

I can't speak for all, but I say, no, not at all.

But I infer from your posts that you are in serious denial about the possibility of Black Muslims being sympathizers with Muslim terrorists. Many of us are puzzled by this myopia on your part.

IMO, the very idea of the Black Muslim movement in this country was sick and counterproductive to a mentally/spiritually healthy nation.

Anyone watching five minutes of one their gatherings who does not conclude that many, if not most, of the "Minister's" followers are not men absolutely bubbling with hate, anger, and resentment is simply a wishful thinker. And, of course, the "good minister" does his best to inflame and fan those hateful emotions.

What shall we do to prevent such black muslim American snipers in the future?

There are dots, we could start by connecting them...

MOA (Muslims of America) was founded and is led by the radical Pakistani cleric El Sheikh Sayyid Mubarik Ali Jilani (commonly known as Sheikh Jilani or Sheikh Gilani). Based in Lahore, Pakistan, Jilani established MOA in 1980, after arriving in the United States for the first time. In the 1980s, Jilani, who claims to be a direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad, actively recruited American Muslims to fight against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan. MOA claims to have offices in six U.S. cities and Toronto, and it maintains secluded residential communities in New York, Virginia, California, and possibly other states. The group also runs a Web site and an e-mail mailing list.
Muslims of the Americas: In Their Own Words

The group, according to a federal source, is part of Fuqra, an organization whose name means "poverty" in Arabic and which has had compounds in several U.S. areas.

Some Fuqra members in other areas have been implicated in past years in domestic terrorist attacks, and the State Department has labeled the group, known formally as Jamaat ul-Fuqra, as "an Islamic sect that seeks to purify Islam through violence."

The group south of Fresno operates an 1,800-acre compound called the International Quranic Open University, which sits on the former site of the drug addiction recovery cult Synanon.
Why is there an Islamic Village
in the foothills near Fresno?

Colorado's investigation indicated that the United States FUQRA movement was composed of approximately 30 different 'Jamaats' or communities, somewhat mobile in nature. Most of these 'Jamaats' are believed to currently exist today, along with what investigators deemed to be several 'covert paramilitary training compounds' -- one of which had been located in a remote mountainous area near Buena Vista, Colorado prior to Colorado's prosecutions in the mid-1990s. The corresponding FUQRA 'Jamaat' to the Buena Vista compound was located in Colorado Springs, Colorado…

One of the FUQRA defendants convicted is James D. Williams. After his conviction in 1993 for conspiracy to commit first degree murder, racketeering, and forgery, Williams fled and remained a fugitive until being apprehended in Virginia in August 2000. He was returned to Colorado and sentenced this past March to 69 years in prison. From at least the middle 1980's through 1990, Williams was a leader of a Colorado FUQRA.

OF MEMBERS OF JAMAAT UL FUQRA

Residents of the compound, mostly black Muslims, will say little beyond proclaiming their innocence and complaining that they are victims of religious and racial prejudice.

Pierre said in court that al-Fuqra was a ''phantom, nonexistent organization.''

Prosecutors decline to say what kind of terrorist activity they suspect. Instead they cite al-Fuqra's history and warn that some of the compound's residents are dangerous.

Muslims of the Americas, a tax-exempt group established in the US in 1980 by Gilani, operates communes of primarily black, American-born Muslims in many states in the US, including in Binghamton in New York, Badger in California, York in South California and Red House in Virginia. JF is reportedly linked through court documents to the Muslims of Americas. There is also a road in the name of Sheikh Gilani in the vicinity of Virginia. The cult houses between 100 and 200 people, many of them women and children in about 20 huge trailers. There is also a Virginia newspaper, the Islamic Post, founded by Sheikh Gilani.
