The "experts" who said the sniper was a right-wing white guy and the anthrax (vanity)
Oct. 24 2002 | Michael2001

While not all evidence is in, it looks like the sniper was a Muslim. Huge surprise to some.

All the newsmedia talking heads and the "expert" profilers, have been saying the sniper was a white domestic right-wing domestic. Even as more evidence mounted that this could possibly be terrorism, the networks did all they could to steer clear of it.

Freepers have been saying this was Islamic terrorism since day one. I guess that makes the Freepers smarter than the people whose job it is to profile. But we're really not smarter we just have common sense, and we're not afraid to be un-PC. We are at war with Islam, and anybody who tries to pretend that we're not is a fool.

One of the anthrax mailings said something along the lines of "death to america, death to israel, allah is great". This led the experts to believe that this is a domestic right wing terrorist. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that just like in the sniper case, the "experts" are wrong. We're at war with Islam here people, wake up.

If I am not mistaken, "Muslim" is the religion. If you want to say that there are Christian "Arabs" you would be correct. But it is impossible to be a Christian Muslim.

Perhaps others have explained the difference already. Be well.

Good! Also add the LAX July 4th shooter, and the 15 yr old second generation kid who flew a stolen small plane into a Florida high-rise.

KSL radio just mentioned that the older guy, Muhammed (sp?) was recently on a "mission" in Saudi Arabia. That was all they said - no source or details. Is this a slip, or a cover up, or what? Anyone else hear this?

Danny Coulson.....former FBI uber-agent who sees militia behind every tree. Big ego. Even though involved to a degree in RR and Waco, he worked overtime to put all the blame on the BTFags. A real piece of work that guy. One of the Morris Dees "traitorous Southern Boy Brigade".

You're right. Snow looked at him like he was a nut.

These are the folks who want our guns folks and they will use this case involving a black Jamaican Islama Nutcase/terr as an excuse and the state media will be there to help all they can.

The way the media resisited calling the alleged perps what they were last night made me very very uneasy. They (including FOX to a degree) will lie about something this critical to keep demonizing right wing white gunowners.

The axis of PC Leos and an activist media may turn out to be as big or bigger a threat to our freedom as any band of Islam terrs.

Some people are speculating, as some people are deflecting any consideration of terrorism and its connections to this crime. I have never advocated deportation of anyone except those who are in violation of their visas, illegal aliens, and convicted criminals.

In my post #67, I wrote the following:

. Numerous newspaper accounts this morning say that he converted 17 years ago, was a good Muslim according to neighbors, called his ex-wife to tell her to change his child's diet to Islamic standards, and was anti-American to the point of supporting the 9/11 hijackers. This is NOT a Muslim in name only.

Therefore, we have evidence of someone who was fairly committed to his faith. In addition, he actively took part in the Million Man March and may have been a security guard at the event.

While I do not advocate mass deportation, I also think it foolish to pretend that this is an isolated occurrence, expecially since the man had been vocally supportive of the 9/11 hijackers. This is more than general anti-Americanism. He indicated approval of mass death through terrorism.

Not Islamic terrorism....not a practicing Muslim....just a couple of angry black criminals.

Maybe. BUT Islamic terrorism gave them "reason" to kill.

>>I don't see that this particular instance is a case of "war with Islam." This appears to me to be a case of an evil, stupid man who is also an opportunist. "I'll change my name to something Muslim, rob, kill, and maim, and excuse it all in the name of Allah if I have to."<<

From AP Report:

"...Muhammad converted to Islam after divorcing her 17 years ago, about the time he joined the Army. "After he changed his religion, he called and told me what not to feed my child," she said. "I told him as long as he (their son) lived with me, it was up to me."

Leo Dudley, a former Marine who lived a block from Muhammad, said Muhammad helped provide security for Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan's "Million Man March" in Washington, D.C.

Sounds pretty serious about his religion, if you ask me.

I love it when a liberal has to confront the off script truth. How will the liberals confront this black muslim issue. They've been hoping for that angry white male christian to emerge. In all media reports I have not heard one mentio of Williams be3ing a muslim convert. I'm not jumping to conclusions but what will the media do since the white male scenario is not true? If he were white they demand punishment. Since he is black will they psychobable?

We have evidence that these guys are Al-queda?

Reasonable cause for concern...

The suspected terror ties of the Alabama camp were unknown until after Sept. 11, when officials in London arrested an accused al Qaeda supporter, Zain-ul-Albidin

He is charged with operation of a Web site, under the name of Sakina Security, allegedly recruiting Muslims for an Islamic jihad or holy war. He is now on trial in London.

The site, since taken down by British authorities, described what seemed to be the Alabama camp, including live-fire exercises at a state-of-the-art shooting range in the United States — something that would not be legal in Britain.
FR LINKS

In connection with the sniper case, however, the FBI reportedly is searching "Camp Ground Zero USA" in Marion, Ala., a militant Islamic training camp with possible links to al-Qaida. Last night Fox News reported that FBI sources said "they are not at liberty to comment" and cannot confirm or deny their agents are investigating the camp…

Fox News also reported that warrants related to the D.C. case issued yesterday in Montgomery, Ala.

A telephone call from the sniper alerted investigators to look into a Sept. 21 fatal shooting at a liquor store in Montgomery, according to the Seattle Times.

An official said a piece of paper found at the Alabama shooting scene was traced to Malvo, who then was linked to a Tacoma house where he had been living with Muhammad.

Wouldn't it be easier to round them up and put them in camps to find that out?

Calm down. I'm merely commenting on the lack of muslim rage at having their religion identified with terrorism. Look at the anger generated here when Christianity is accused of being the source of evil in the world. Why aren't muslims outraged by these guys? Why ar muslims lecturing us, instead of the terrorists? Why don't they jump up and vow to stand with us against terrorism?

""Blame" Moose? Why?"

I don't like the guy.

I believe PC moose hindered the investigation early on.

It should have been obvious that the shooters were blending in after the shootings. look at the demographics.

These guys drove all over Moose's county and were never spotted stopped or questioned even though they had NJ plates. They were checking in and out of motels.

The graphic of the white van appears to have been a complete waste of time and resources.

Whoever was responsible for jumping the gun at the phone booth caused the bus drivers death. Moose is in charge, so I get to blame him. Thats the rule.

When the truth comes out(if it does) and we find out what info LE had early on, I think Moose will look more and more like "Bullinkle."

Besides all of that, I just don't like the guy. Did I mention that? Just a feeling, something in my gut.

FOX also played the tape of the camp owner who says Williams had never been to that camp and he's never heard of him. Are the connections to the 17 year old Jamaican perhaps?

On this forum we have a wide range of opinions. As I stated earlier on this thread, I have never believed in the "round em up" solution to radical Islam, but at the same time I am not going to pretend that this has NO connection to the war on terror, simply because the guy is black.

I find it reprehensible that there are people on this board who advocate shooting them all. I also find it reprehensible that any of us who rationally exhibit a degree of suspicion about the motives of many members of the Muslim faith, based on their documented behavior (and lack of criticism to the terrorists) since 9/11, are accused of wanting to conduct a genocide here in the US.

I find this entire train of thought puzzling and deplorable. I really don't have much more to say except that I wish that people would calm down and simply look at the facts.

I'm very calm, thanks. Yes, there is anger and maybe even enough rage from anti-Americans muslim converts to trigger this kind of killing spree. But what is your solution to preempt such an occurance in the future?

And you take the word of a terrorist camp owner at face value?

A tip for you: When you're in a hole, quit digging.

Also, since the ransom demand came after the first wave of killings, it is possible that the guy decided to make a little cash on the side.

Timing is critical here. the first demands for cash probably came on the first day. Money was probably the motive from the beginning. If the perps were not directly connected to AQ, they probably had visions of making themselves big shots in the organization, or forming their own cell.

You're right...the guy who owns the security training camp (obviously a white militia gun-toting type), is lying. Furthermore, the snipers are Islamic terrorist with connections to Hezbollah...or whatever else the current thinking has been. What shall we do to prevent such black muslim American snipers in the future?
