This guy (selected by the NAACP) to solve the now proven non-existant-NAACP alleged racial profile scandal by the Montgomery County Police, with his agenda of not painting groups... not causing minorities to be misidentified, has caused 4 additional people to be killed, because the Baltimore LE, that stopped the same Caprice with the same killers in it (on October 8th), let them go because they were black and not white.
Well I will admit I have my opinions about Moose and yes I have heard all about the award Janet Reno gave him and the trip to the White House
However I don't know what all happened behind the scenes and what all occurred and how accurate or inaccurate information was being passed on
Which was one of the reasons I was a little disaapointed with tonights news conference
With that all said .. I am not going to dump on Chief Moose unless I have all or most of the facts straight because if he did nothing wrong, then it would not be fair to dump on him
I'm not giving him a pass. I was the one willing to bet money the perps would never be caught because the Maryland PC police were out of their league. I would have lost on the getting caught part, but the MD, PC police have been pretty well proven to be out of their league when it comes to doing more than busting guys at parades because the mayor doesn;t like the Ten Commandments banner they're carrying.
However, most of my comments about him have been restricted to my opinion of how badly he handled this case...and I was afraid worse things might come of it. I still am, sort of. And still hope I'm wrong. I AM guilty of not being insulting. Figured it would be innapropriate in this case. Would have been ENTIRELY appropriate if it had gone on much longer.
