Overnite, two men arrested while sleeping in their car at a reststop in MD. John Mohammed aka John Williams and his stepson Lee Malvo. Mohammad is thought to be the likely shooter.

CNN and MSNBC are both saying things like "WHEW - glad this is over", etc. - as if the whole thing is supposed to be out of our minds, now. (I'm paraphrasing, of course)

Media just realised that the election is in 12 days and they have a lot of work to do. THey are not going to realise that they spent way to much effort profiling this case...NOT A PRETTY MORNING IN THE NEWS ROOMS...

Because the media made it matter by profiling this as a potential white person all along.

I really can not recall hearing once that the perp may even be black. Now its 2 black men who seem to practice Islam. Yet for weeks we have been hearing about rednecks and neo-nazi's, hispanics ect....

Not necessarily an arrest. I am 24 years old and specifically remember being fingerprinted by local police in the first grade under the auspices of identification purposes for kidnappings, gross disfigurement, etc. If Malvo is not a U.S. citizen, however, then most likely it was from arrest.

I think the message was really "Duck duck...Goose!"

It's from a Cherokee parable about a boastful rabbit who wants the otter to think he can catch fish as good as the otter. The otter says, I can catch duck too, and the rabbit claims to be able to catch ducks as well. The rabbit makes a noose and puts a duck in the noose. The duck flies off, dragging the rabbit along. The rabbit ends up falling into a tree stump and getting stuck where he has to resort to eating his own fur (as starving rabbits often do).
