I heard the tapes were Calypso Louie.

Econo Lodge was across the street from the 'take-down' of the 2 hispanic illegals at the phone booth. There is a phone booth too, at the Econo Lodge that was not under surveillance. Fox News reporting that the Mohammad and Malvo probably sat at the Econo Lodge and watched the arrests.

I am picturing every white-truck-with-a-rack-driving white guy that found himself kissing the pavement on the highway last week on the phone this morning with his lawyer...

"I am really relieved that they have been captured prior to President Bush's trip to Alabama and NC today." Laura was here in Mobile last week.

"three way policy" -- The Iraqis seem to use something similar -- look at OKC. Elohim City nutz, Iraqi agents provocateur, Federal secret agents. Three body systems have a lot of dynamics. This case's book ain't closed, imo.

Does anyone find it strange that the sniper who has been following the media all along (kids are safe, kid shot next day) didn't watch the news last night? They were too easy to catch. Something just doesn't add up here. I have an uneasy feeling about this.
Could this have been all planned out just to be able to send out a code to the sleeper cells? Something is just not right.
BTW, Laden is the correct spelling not Ladin. No big deal.

Looks as if they got your "three-way policy."
Do you think there's more to come?

That's what I'm afraid...I'm sure they thought of that before they put it out and I think it was "after" they got these guys...and wanted to cause some movement.
I'm almost sure now that the phone booth scenario was a farce directed at the perps to make them change their plan and show themselves just a little more.

Maybe that's what the 'duck in a noose' meant...

"I have a feeling we may still be even more stunned before this is all wrapped up" The guy on Fox News is saying essentially the same thing. He's speculating that a terrorist (Islamic) connection will be found.

No, Malvo has nothing to do with Belafonte, to my knowledge.
The poster was referring to the fact that Malvo's Jamaican, like Belafonte, who has spent the last couple of weeks making ugly remarks about Colin Powell and Condi Rice.

^^^^You bet they're going to dot every I and cross every T. This case is too big to screw up. ^^^^
Then I hope these two are NOT bright enough to ask for an attorney.....as, according to my Law and Order television education, all questioning would have to stop.
Maybe somebody else can address this?

It's structure, activities and goals are clearly more like 'La Cosa Nostra', another similar murderous quasi-religious organization.Well, there go all your Italian friends...

Did anyone catch the quick statement made on Fox News earlier this morning that Michael (Michael's stores) translates to Mohammad?

Rest Stop was around Myersville MD. About 10 miles east of Hagerstown I think. I was just through there a few weeks ago.

Case could have been solved long ago with composite released of Burgandy Chevy Caprice during the first shootings. IMO.....Took 2 hours to find the caprice after the info got out took public.
Evidently the Burgundy Chevy Caprice has been looked for Since the first shootings...and was on the Radar all along..***Where were the graphic composites of burgundy Caprice?***

Sunday, October 13, 2002 FLIT'S SNIPER PREDICTION At present, the authorities in D.C. are looking for a white cube van, a white panel van, and a burgundy Chevy Caprice. My money's on the Caprice. White vans, because it's the most common delivery truck colour, are near-ubiquitous on city highways. Drive the four-lanes around Toronto, and there's rarely a five minute stretch where something white and van-like isn't speeding away from you in some direction. No, wait, I'll make another prediction. The engagement range of the sniper, when all is said and done, will be found to vary between 75-200m. Nothing farther. (For reference, Lee Oswald hit Jack Kennedy with his final shot at 80m.) All this talk about a "sniper subculture" (which anyone who's played first-person shooter computer games in the last three years must just find unfathomable) and weapons that are accurate past 400m will only obscure the fact that this guy is killing with a cheap, military-grade semi-auto .223 with a scope, from moderate range.
