Overnite, two men arrested while sleeping in their car at a reststop in MD. John Mohammed aka John Williams and his stepson Lee Malvo. Mohammad is thought to be the likely shooter.

Rita up. Talks about 5 red stars on top of the messages. Tied to a Jamaican rap group called Five Red Stars.
One of the key songs is "Word is Bond" a phrase used in the news conference.

Now Rita is saying the stars on the letters comes from a Jamaican rap group by that name....these guys were whacked.

It's peculiar that he's an hour late, this after multiple cancellations of earlier PC's scheduled today.

Mort says he agrees these guys were at the very least inspired by Al Qaedo.
Fred said he considers them Islamic Terrorists.
Cece Connelly from the WA Post was on and thinks it only fair that CAIR, after Brit read from the website where they denounce the acts but add the usual disclaimer that they fear backlash against the Muslim community, makes such a statement. Fred said that was NONSENSE (or some such word).
Fred said they should be denouncing these acts without the qualifiers----GO FRED.
