Overnite, two men arrested while sleeping in their car at a reststop in MD. John Mohammed aka John Williams and his stepson Lee Malvo. Mohammad is thought to be the likely shooter.

Or perhaps I am just being overly sensitive. They of course are literally creaming themselves over the arrest of John Allen MUHAMMAD, and have deliriously reported how he is a CONVERT TO ISLAM!!!! He had expressed ANTI-AMERICAN SENTIMENTS after 9-11 and the attack on Afghanistan!!!!!

Are we in the same universe as this poor DU poster? I'm seriously beginning to doubt my empiricism, if we're able to see and hear the same media reports and come away with such diametric conclusions. The media, and especially CNN, has been bending over backwards to paint this shooter as a moody-white-loner-with-guns. Since it's turned out that the first arrestee was much more closely related philosophically to the 363 kg gorilla they've been studiously avoiding, they've been trying to whitewash, literally, that connection. We hear in the media of the arrest of John Williams, instead of the name he chose after 11 September 2001, John Muhammad.

Wow, I'm late getting in here. But I finally wanted to clear up what I said the other night. I can't go into great detail, but for those who remember my panic, I can say (as I said it might not) it did not pan out.

I still want to spare the people involved but the story is this. A weekend ago someone recognized people driving together in a white box van with damage to the rear of the truck followed by a brown Caprice. The drivers of the vehicles were known to the people that had spotted them because the drivers had at one time threatened to kill them. The drivers were contractors and traveled for work. All that together freaked these folks out.

These men were known to these people as shady and pretty scary. There are other details to the story, but they aren't necessary to share.

I hope those here that have spent time chasing leads and people from stuff they've found on the internet will report what they've found and take a mental health break. I know I need one!:)
