Interesting tidbits. Where did you get them from? TIA

Still in
The Moscow Times article: "Local media said children, Muslims and foreigners who could show their passports were allowed to leave the building. The reports could not be confirmed."
To: Yaelle
Where is the intelligence here???Makes you wonder. Hubby thinks they were set up. I think the "brain" is still out there.
To: TexKat
You know the media needs to quit.Earlier that said that President Bush had been informed that the case had been all wrapped up.
Now they have retracted that, LE has not said that. This may not be over.
Having seen that the probable perps are black muslims, the media really, really wants it to be over.

Something smells bad. What is the meaning of "duck in a noose"? Sounds like some sort of signal to me. Police chief in Ala. says credit card was NOT stolen. Guys who were clever enough to have police chasing white vans get caught in "hot" car with the NJ license plates..sleeping in a rest ara????????

Everyone keeps discounting the Al Qaeda connection, but -- call me a tin-foil king if you want -- I need to see more before I rule it out. Not saying to rule it out, just to keep an open mind barring hard evidence (all we have is speculation so far, face it, 'nothing wrong with it, but still to be taken with a grain of salt, including my comments).
And that's "tinfoil-Pyramid-Hat-King". :-)

There is a thread up about the explosions
2 Powerful Explosions Rock Theater in Moscow
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/775033/posts
According to him, the explosions were such strong that their echo was given a ride on entire block.Correspondent asserts that this exploded even not grenades, but something more powerful/thicker.They sounded with the interruption into several seconds, according to the data of Itar- TASS - in ten seconds.

Where's the brain?Maybe he's collecting $10M.
Nobody here seems to remember that the duck in the noose gets away.

thanks
Pardon me if this point was previously made. I don't think the authorities covered themselves with glory in this case even if, as hoped, they got the sniper. Media reports say the authorities were "on to" the two suspects at least 4 days ago. Yet, until late last night, they did not seek the media or the public's help in locating the men. Why not release whatever information (apparently considerable) they had to help get the men in for questionning? Didn't they put lives at risk by witholding the information? What if the sniper had struck again (maybe he did?), how could they face the public. I think a lot of big egos and police arrogance got in the way of this investigation.

Ah, thanks, that makes more sense. 17 years then a name change after 9/11. MSNBC reporterette musters up enough un-pc to state these men had been heard making anti_American statements, bragging on hits on 9/11.

I believe fragments were found in stump consistent with .223. I've heard though that the stump is not answering any questions at this time.

Good mornin' Darlin',
There has been so much news, choosing the most surprising may be a difficult task. To me, I find it surprising that the news media is insinuating that this is all over. Frankly, I think it's far from over. Not surprisingly, no one (in the liberal media) wants to connect the suspects in custody with Al Queda or islamic terrorists, refusing to use Mohammed as his last name, and heaven forbid, report that Mohammed (Williams) served as security for the Million Man March.
Stay tuned, this isn't over yet.

Are you as tired as I am?

Having seen that the probable perps are black muslims, the media really, really wants it to be over.If they can "officially" declare it over, they can quickly sweep it under the rug because it isn't "politically correct" to discuss it in mixed company.
Plus a few folks at the networks have realized that they're behind the eight-ball on election coverrage. If they don't get back out front with it, they know the GOP will win running away (not that they won't, but the networks will do their damnedest to make sure the Dems look good).

Will these terrorist training camps in the USA be made illegal? I am all for our freedoms, but when gay bathhouses were speading AIDS like wildfire, they were shut down. I feel like we are chumps, having open terrorist camps HERE IN THIS COUNTRY to train AQs how to kill and terrorize us. Just because we are a free country, should we be loaning our enemies the rope to hang us with??
