Overnite, two men arrested while sleeping in their car at a reststop in MD. John Mohammed aka John Williams and his stepson Lee Malvo. Mohammad is thought to be the likely shooter.

CNN is talking about Washington State, Maryland, Virginia and DC. No word of Alabama yet. WSB AM 750, the local Atlanta news station is all over the Alabama connection. I wonder why CNN is holding back on the Alabama connection.

Frankly, I thought about the Black Muslim connection right off, because of the Zebra killings in San Francisco in teh 70s.

Same thing: a group of Black Muslims drove around sniping at random whites out of a car, killed at least 17 people, and eluded police for almost two years. They called themselves the "Death Angels."

I wouldn't be surprised. They are totally anti-American and if these guys are not connected to Al-Qaeda like they said they probably were connected to anothere anti-American group and that could be THE BLACK PANTHERS.

Very interesting angle here. Funny the NEW BLACK PANTHERS wanted to get involved in the hunt way in the beginning but quickly dropped out maybe they knew who this guy was.

But I worked with a crazy Welshman once who'd spent quite a few years in the Middle East for several American oil companies.

One of his duties, at one of his postings there, was to take a Jeep down the airstrip at night before company planes were due to land to make sure that there were no sons of mohammed buggering each other in the lee of the berms alongside the strip.

The fear was that they might scatter and bolt in front of the plane if they were partying when it landed and caught them in it's landing lights.
