Let's keep a live commentary thread going again today. The FBI Tip Line #1-888-324-9800.
All seems quiet since yesterday's news the shooter may target children specifically. It was released on various news outlets the shooter's 3-page letter to police was in broken English and threatened extreme violence. Police announced an electronic transfer of $10m as requested by the shooter was not possible but other options for transfer remain open. No one seriously believes police will actually give the shooter $$, but police are trying to keep a dialogue open with the shooter in an effort to capture this monster.

Exactly. It is a special consideration made for this case. It seems a great incentive to someone who was here illegally and wants to improve his/her status

Is that a secured or unsecured credit card?If it was stolen then it was secured by the thief but that doesn't necessesarily mean that it was insecure to begin with. ;>)

Re the Russian plane incident...Office of Homeland Security just issued an all clear on the matter, what ever that means? Perhaps he was carrying a smoke detector and set off the radiation alarm?

Could be damage control for the two arrests...could also be code words for the sniper...maybe something was said in the last phone call to police from the sniper...or in the last letter left....
To: slimer
Good going, slimer.

Demanding Russian withdrawal from Chechnya,Since Russia has no history of kneebending, I suspect the answer will be something like "100 of yours for every 1 of ours".

The death card does not necessarily signify death, it can mean a letting go of a previous plan or a transformation in that the person or situation is reborn in a new form The death card was discovered when? On October 8? Everyone thought he only killed on weekdays. So, he killed on a weekend in an entirely different location. If the guy is using the death card, it might be that the authorities would consult a psychic or expert on Tarot. This guy might indeed believe in some grand cosmic design that he is to fulfill.

Interesting idea. $500,000 and instant citizenship (or at least permanent green card) for information leading to the capture of the sniper. Hmmmmmmm...
