There was one woman with a Hispanic/Latino sounding last name, but I believe that was by marriage. The sniper was alternating between white and black victims for a time.

PERP is NOT shooting from a vehicle...he is parking his vehicle up to a mile away...he is willing to walk to the shooting spot under the cover of trees and brush...he is willing to lay in wait...and he is willing to walk, jog, run back to his vehicle that ISN'T anywhere near the chaos...NO ONE has sseen him and NO ONE has seen a suspicious "vehicle" in the crime area...because is is smart enough to NEVER BE in the area at or after the crime...

The reason he is REVISITING The Gate of Heaven is BECAUSE he lives nearby in Wheaton...he is most likely on a bicycle and is willing to peddle a few milesa to and from the scene of the crime...OHHH also in Montgomery County...the buses there are equipped to TRANSPORT bicycles....so...chances are he "hops" a ride near the new crime scene...takes his bike with him....fires off a shot...hops on his bike and a few miles away HOPS back on a BUS. MAYBE he shot the bus driver today BECAUSE he was paranoid...felt that maybe the bus driver was "observant"...maybe the bus driver was "rubbed out"... what do you think AP?

I don't know if I agree. He seems to have a whole lot of " we have nothing new" press conferences like he's hogging the camera. I am sure he wishes that he were becoming popular under more positive circumstances but face it he's a cop and he's going to get in front of the camera because he deals with nasty stuff.

I saw the sherrif that was in charge of the Samantha Runion case on TV the other day pimping for Arnold and his Prop 49 or whateve the after school initiative is in California. This is the kind of stuff that can put one in the mayors office, or the govenors mansion, or congress.

I'm not saying he's enjoying it- he'd have to be as sick as they sniper to actually enjoy it. But why not take advantage of the opportunity- he didn't cause it hes just the one that has to deal with it. Face it- this is going to be an awesome book when all is said and done and they bad guy is dead- we already know there are details we don't know. This is his fifteen minutes.

And yes, besides seeming to get as much camera time as he can get he also seems a wee bit in over his head. Not because he's hasn't solved it but becuase he doesn't seem to have the slightest indication of what he needs to do to get anywhere near solving it. It seems he is acting reactively rather than proactively. Hopefully all just seems that way and in reality there is lots of movement goign on that we in the public don't know about.

And I have to admit- his fear came screaming through in the afternoons press conference. That doesn't inspire confidence, it sends off the warning alarms that all is even worse that it seems. I am on the other coast from where this is happening and I was scared after that press conference.

But all that said I will agree with the original posting that started these responsees. We DO need to pray for Moose and his men. Pray to strengthen them for what they face, pray for them to have the wisdom they need to get this guy.

You forgot the "nice", "polite", "well mannered" and "I can't BELIVE..."part...as well as might be added part to this case IF and that's BIG IF it's ever solved: "well dressed" and maybe "attractive".
