I agree. A nutjob with an above average (well for nutjobs and other crimminals) IQ. A normal nutjob would of gone out in a blaze of glory by now.
I'm surprised that the sniper hasn't relocated yet. All he has to do is setup shop somewhere else and he'll have another free dozen kills before LEO can do anything about it.

You program in a question, and he goes through the Koran on such detailed issues as 'the fine points of issuing a fatwha', or whether 'it is ok to have toe jam during Ramadan?'.

It might be good to pose them a quesion. Is is acceptable for the children of keffir (non-non-Islams) to be sacrificed in the name of Jehad?

Read on another post that instead of calling for a roadblock 15 minutes after the shooting the police should contact all radio stations and tell everyone to pull over to the side of the road instantly. Tell people not to leave their houses for work, etc.
Course the killer will do the same, but it would give the police a chance to setup a roadblock that might actually do some good.

I STILL say they should have asked for air surveillance support from the National Guard. They probably have a FEW more resources, thinly as they've been stretched since Clinton gutted them along with every other important part of our security.

Approximately 6000 miles of land borders, not including Alaska. AT $1 million per mile for fencing and sensors, that's $6 billion. Chump change. One month (maybe one week) of Hillarycare would cost more. If I'm off by a factor of ten it's still cheap compared to war, and cheaper still if you count the cost of illegal immigrants in our schools and hospitals. And what is the cost to citizens' freedoms of letting these people come in?

I can hear the news in the background and they keep referring to the sniper as he. He is this, he is that. Hell for all we know it could be a different guy for each shooting and they keep passing off the gun taking turns.

This part of Maryland is not "comfortable" with firearms. They would rather be hunted down while pumping thier gas than "allow" each other the ability to defend themselves.

The real problem is that this guy is able to enter and exit an area with a firearm without being seen, and firearms are currently an oddity in this area. If you had people walking around with rifles, the police would just be chasing false alarms related to the public hunting the sniper.

They need to allow CCW and have citizen patrols. It would be messy if they found him, but it would show that we are willing to put our foot down.

I dunno about you or anyone else in here..but Moose has really had a seriously sick and defeated look on his face all day today. It looks like this last press conference here really shook him up. I can read people really well...my bet is he has been getting really screwed up inside that building over what is being said to him in these messages and today's is probably the worst he has heard.

Just imagine if you had this going on and then the number hit 13 and then you hear the message about children and what will happen to them. He looks absolutely horrible.
