You're right. But wouldn't a bank account be traceable just the same - unless of course, it was opened with false ID which probably would be the case if we're dealing with organized terrorism.

If the victim is really an African American male in Montgomery County, the sniper probably wasn't buying the bad-audio explanation by Charles Moose yesterday.

I thought of this, too. Isn't there a movie that shows that a cop's standard procedure when dealing with demands is to slow things down and get the perp talking? The intelligent perp (per Hollywood) then kills someone to let the police he's serious.

In addition, his choice of locale & victim could be interpreted a responding directly to Moose.

The ransom demand would be two-fold: 1) The police must open the account themselves, and 2) the police must provide either a PIN number or routing number so the perp can access the account himself from some Third World rat-hole.

The Muslims I know--and this is Green Bay, not Dearborn--dress Western-style, not in traditional Muslim style (no traditional cap or scarf for the males). The gas station near our old house is Muslim owned, and the gas station's owner's wife wears a scarf, but in our area, wearing a headscarf is not that unusual nine months out of twelve. If a Muslim is wearing Western clothing, I don't know how he (or she) could be distinguished from a non-Muslim.

About 10 days ago, 20-20 or dateline or some news magazine program had a biography segment on Chief Moose. He has a PHD in urban affairs. From where I didn't hear; I tuned in after the program had started. Because he does not speak the King's english, it does not necessarily imply that he is ignorant. Whether or not his degree is legitimate, I don't know. There was some footage of him receiving his degree. Does anyone know anything else about this? Can this be confirmed? Thanks.

I'm not ruling out the fact that it could be a terrorist cell. I'm also not ruling out that it might be and individual nut case who sypathizes(sic) with Al-Qada.

But when I look at the pattern of the shootings, my gut tells me this is an individual who's purpose of the shootings are to boost his self-esteem by "empowering" himself and controling the environment around him.

Large block of apartments across the street from the bus and shooter make for good echo reports. That'll account for the second 'shot' being heard... The back wall of the BigK-Mart behind the apartments would also echo a shot...#3.

Doctor Moose got his doctorate in "Urban Studies". Really. Ask him any question you want about Snoop Doggy Dog or Queen Latifa,and he will have the answer.

Well then,

We better think long and hard about our policies. If we wait until we have been brought to our knees economically and through the loss of many hundreds of innocent lives then we will have wasted an opportunity. The alternative will be to watch this expand outward from DC until the major areas are under siege by simple sniper teams.

I would be willing to bet more than a few women are wearing scarves today before they go out.

What if the sniper made this statement:

"Effective immediately if you wish to live your life in peace, follow a few simple rules to respect Allah and his prophet Muhammed."

"Any women appropriately dressed so that no hair or skin below the neck is exposed will be spared. They can show their faces, but not their hair."

"Prayer time is X, X, X, X and X. Persons seem praying at these times at gas stations, restaraunt parking lots, home depot parking lots and other public places will have their lives spared for up to 30 minutes after the completion of prayers."


Ad Nauseum, conversion by fear is a very effective means of conversion. Think it's not possible to change people in a heartbeat, well you haven't feared a sniper.

This is all very disturbing and points to one big assed conflict, probably next year.
