Same here! Well, not a wife but girlfriend. I had to explain to her exactly why Clinton was evil(and his wife is worse) She honestly had no idea, but while we do talk about things she is not obsessed with these matters as I am.

Funnier thing is when my mom tells me about something and I have to say "Yeah, FreeRepublic ma, I already know that!"

Those were the days. And I remember, there would be hundreds and hundreds of kids out. You couldn't stir them with a stick there were so many. And you never feared home made candy, caramel apples, popcorn balls. Now, you can't even trust store bought candy. We never considered having our candy X-rayed. Now you feel reckless not doing so.

I just tuned in..had to change channel for stress relief. They're talking about staying focused, and perserving our freedom as a nation. Practice our invidual freedoms and remain resilient as a nation. Keep the victims in our mind, give them privacy in their moment of loss..we'll try to take a few questions...(--Moose)
