I heard the multiple Tarot card thing on a late-night CNN show (probably a replay of something earlier).

Uh, oh, do we need to worry about you? Are you going to start shooting real people now? If you follow the liberal logic, you will. Unbelievable. Whatever happened to personal responsibility?

Halloween is coming up and children will be out in drovesSurely there can't be that many parents stupid enough to send little kids out for candy at a time like this!! I am sure some will, but I would hope the cities would stop it before it begins. Yes, radical..but smart.

"Why are they so clueless? "
I know, I'm a major news junkie, the only one in the house that enjoys discussing politics and current affairs and I'm
experiencing major overload. This news is beyond saturation. We need to think of a new word for the extent of this coverage.
I'm fuzzy-brained (right now, not always). :) Anyone else think of a word?
To: yukong
Sorry, lame attempt at humor. You probably don't remember those commericials on TV...

Truely sad. I remember, as a kid in the 60s, going out on Halloween, covering 20-30 city blocks trick or treating. No parents in sight. Having a blast. Would fill a grocery sack full of candy. No fear of anything. What I would give to let my kids live in that type of environment.

Thanks :)
I guess I might have overstated it, I only meant I'm aware of a future dark time on the horizon. I don't walk around shaking or fearing what might happen. I just want to be prepared and to help my friends and loved ones be prepared mentally for that eventuality.
I'm also taking the police exam soon, so I guess I might be on the frontlines(domestically) soon.

Do you suppose that He/they are using a disguised weapon al la The Jackal?
He had a custom weapon made that could be disguised as a crutch. Single shooter.
Could be the way he gets past the perimeter, as a crippled homeless person.
Just trying to think outside the box

I'm in the same boat. My wife cannot stand political talk, nonstop news. I can't get enough. I used to be in politics so I love them. My wife gets major P!ssed when I stay on the computer all evening getting my fix from you good people. So I can relate. We need to stick together.

Mindless is the only thing that seems to fit at the moment.
To: riri
riri, well, we're kind of neighbors.:) I'm in Ahwatukee Foothills.
No winter lawn for us this year. Last two years looked to pathy. Birds ate a lot of the seed.
Lots of directions being yelled ou before this press confernce. Heard media presence at Rockville is international.
Just my opinion, but I don't think this is Al Queda anymore.
News confernence starting...

Could be the way he gets past the perimeter, as a crippled homeless person. No homeless folk in that neck of the woods; but plenty of places to hide, considering he's got some semblance of a "home field advantage" in that neck of the woods.
Any new word on the noon presser?

Well, I;m fairly mature, 42, I guess I just don't remember what commercial you are referencing. I think it was an aspirin commercial... Some sitcom doctor says "I'm not a doctor, but I play one on TV"
PS. I'm 47
