Hmm. Dilemma Dilemma DILEMMA! Cannot say that operational word "dilemma" from Moose's mouth enough! That is the biggest slip up if you ask me. It means they have something the public can help them on, but to release it will cause harm to 'some group'. They are agonizing over the 'dilemma.'

We will soon see what 'dilemma' Chief Moose was talking about with respect to witholding key pieces of information on this for weeks. The 'dilemma' may well be in the form of who is handcuffed or laying lifeless after a major shootout with the police. Hmmmmmmmm.......

It is my understanding in the area in DC, there are many Middle Easterns walking around on streets and shopping malls in their native dress, such is in 'abaya' and 'chadol' and almost 'burqa' for some. When one of these people are shot, then we can dismiss Arab terrorism perhaps.

You are correct, the shooter could have easily targeted someone in Montgomery County or the Falls Church shootings dressed in Muslim garb. Whenever I'm in the area, I always see Muslim peoples. With that being said I'm still not convinced its the work of Arab terrorists, but each new shooting is leading me towards that conclusion.

All the more reason to press them on a description of the shooter, or release of any internal sketches they are working on that has targeted their investigation, so the general public can also be on the highest form of alert.

I agree and have maintained in my personal theory (ME) that this person does not work, may hav his own business but just for a front. I think that he is well financed and has access to much information (may be reading this post). The point that I was trying to make is.. where does this person live? Everyone must be on a heightend state of awareness. If he lived somewhere outside of a mosque or commune, I think someone would connect his coming and going with the shootings.

Sadly, some of this "enemy army" is not foreign born or even Middle Eastern. They range from Johnnie Walker to Padilla to the mostly American-born black members of the cell busted in Portland recently.

Like you, I've been pondering random thoughts and have had trouble bringing them into some sort of cohesive form. How better to terrorize than to undermine the public's confidence in their local LEO's? By moving back into the D.C. area, now he's taking on that military "eye in the sky".

From all reports, his note threatened school children. It was pointed out this morning that this morning's shooting happened within sight of a school bus stop. I think this was an "in your face" effort to prove how easy it would be to fulfill that threat.
