But would you want to be a school administrator who had rejected a police recommendation to close the schools?
To: livius
LOL! The easiest way is to follow rintense's above instructions AND keep a spreadsheet or whatever minimized for instant maximizing when offending co-workers/superiors appear. This requires a good ear if your back is to the rest of the cube creatures.

Still waiting.

The problem is, I'm my own boss. All I know is that I'm not getting enough work done. Who to fire?Unless you have a leak under the concrete slab to your house

I even got to shake Roselyn's hand and have a picture of it.
LOL. I can still hear her calling him JIMM-AH.
To: Miss Marple
I'm not trying to sound super brave, but nobody, NOBODY is
gonna confine me to my house!

Ummmm...not only did I practice, I placed into save this information in the back of my brain.

An intelligent man, your father. My father never commented except in grunts--my mother always voted "for the man, not the party."
They met as Democrats at an FDR rally. Left this earth as independent conservatives.

OK. Make sure you are vaccinated for smallpox. And by the way, there is no vaccination for ebola virus.

Did he say anything worthwhile? Hasn't happened yet. I wish he'd get started though, because I have to call the roofer within the next 45 minutes. Then I've got to run errands.
To: swarthyguy
Did he say anything worthwhile? To tell you the truth, I forget what he (Gary Bald) had to say. It mustn't have been very memorable.
To: slimer
Will try and keep you informed. Ugh Plumbers = Money
To: Howlin
If he sends a coded message to the whackos, they might as well have an Arabic interpreter sent over from State Dept. to stand next to him and provide simultaneous.
To: livius
In this part of the country, many of us would LOVE to have work to DO. Recession is absolutely KILLING small service businesses connected to the metal fabrication markets.

Plumbers = Money
Dentists = Money
University tuition for daughter = Money
This is my life for the last month.

Oh, I'm not cubicle bound..I am kitchen bound, though.:) with the TV in family room a few feet away.
My husband works at home so he KNOWS I'm not getting any work done!:)

Personally, I love Fuhrman and am grateful that his efforts led to the trials of at least two well-known murderers and the conviction of one. Rumor has it that he wants to look into the Vince Foster case. A FReepers dream!!!!!
Gal, but is your Mom a ultra pro-life conservative as my friend is? It's just weird.
To: slimer
Unless you have a leak under the concrete slab to your houseI have a basement, does that count?

My husband works at home Eh, now that would really put a wrench in things for me. However, my husband did call and ask me why I haven't solved the case yet, so apparently he knows what I am up to.

I thought you were speaking about a differernt type of threat. We stocked up against bio weapons about two years ago. That sound tin foil foolish doesn't it. Actually, we have been keeping a year's worth of most foods at hand for almost ten years. A habit my wife brought with her. Served us well when I got laid off a couple years back and when i couldn't work because of a heart attack.
