I don't think so...just something he would pick up...have the gardeners add something to the tree mulch. I'm guessing no one usually goes in these "hidden" spots except perhaps the lawn maintenance people who could easily be discounted.

RICHMOND, Virginia (CNN) -- Investigators believe the sniper who has terrorized the greater Washington area called authorities Monday morning using a voice-disguising device, a source close to the investigation told CNN.

My biggest concern is that the threats to LE in the notes are that the shootings are going to go nationwide, unless conditions are met, such as releasing various prisoners, including that blind guy. That sure is an ominous thought -- the scary part is that you might be right. Remember how Tenet sort of freaked out the other day at the hearings? Seemed like he knew something we didn't.

Let them try it in Kansas--there are no trees and everyone has guns (I knew i lived here for a reason)

I would guess not too many folks buy those machines. Either he walked in a store a couple months ago or got it off the web.
Is their a real name for these machines??

One more thing I have noticed regarding Home Depot...I realize that cooler weather has set in, but HD still carries a substantial amount of fall foilage, which up until this letter thing started, were displaying mums, pansies, etc. all over the front of the store (outside). All of a sudden, everything has been yanked inside, in spite of the fact that customers are falling all over themselves now in the H & G Dept. Is this happening anywhere else? Maybe it's my imagination working overtime...

LOL! I know it's not a great movie, but I think the Ladies Man flick might be the best SNL character-based comedy released.
Billy D Williams(Lester)"Well, Leon, you finally made good."
Leon Phelps, the Ladies Man: "Well, yeah, that's the way I like to look at it. I'd like to think that a man that has endured hundreds of women as I have, many of whom he dont even remember, will at the end of the day, be given a lot of money that he did not have to earn"
"the thientific name ith the Hershey Highway"

"There's that word clear again"
Alles klar, lieber Kommisar?

Some people don't understand his "take precautions." What does that mean, exactly? I've told my friends what you people on here have said. THAT is helpful to them. I've told them about the guns and types of. They are going to get guns. They asked me "who do we shoot?" "How do we shoot?" I told them a gun safety class should accompany that gun. Mine did, it came along with. I think the LEO's should be FAR more able to give advice like this than I. I think deep concern and grief sometimes turns into anger. I do believe that is what happened to me today. Forgive me for being too hard on someone who has a difficult job and forgive me for thinking and (worse) saying he is doing it poorly, IMO.

I think we all have little numblegsSo it's not just me?? That's where that comes from?

Let them try it in Kansas Wish I could say the same thing. I'm living here in the "gun control" state - home of the MMM founder.

At first, I was really put off by Chief Moose's inability to enunciate, and concluded that he was not the person to be spokeman because of the seriousness of this situation.
But now, I have the "we are all in this together" feeling about Chief Moose. I do not want to see any more postings about his inability to pronounce certain consonants. The reason is that his brain may be working just fine, even though he can't speak perfectly.
We have to hang together, friends, and even though we may have disagreements with liberals, and he has a problemtatic reputation in that regard, we must be a united "house" to get through this awful time.
We cannot let the shooter(s) set us against one another. We do not know what we are up against, even though we all speculate about it. It could be worse than even our worst fears.
Then again, it could be nothing but lone nuts(s). After it is solved one way or another, then we can pick each other apart.
To: WRhine
You could be right. I certainly hope they are sitting on a trove of clues and info we don't know about.
This person or persons need to be be caught.
By the way prayers to all the victims families. An average American, in his daily work routine, gunned down needlessly. Very sad.

I have no confidence LE is concealing the facts it is concealing entirely for legitimate reasons. Remember Moose's PC statement last week.

Second Amendment Sisters should have a chapter nearby..they could help teach them..same with NRA.
To: Letitring
Hey, Letitring..YOU are entitled to your opinion, and trust me, you are in good company with the one you expressed.
We didn't agree, but that doesn't mean you were wrong, there is no right or wrong with this darn situation.. :~)

And when he was admittedly talking to the bad guy(s), both times he told the media to play the message clearly and often. That is not normal English, so I think it's part of their code. I think you are onto something. I heard one of the talking head experts say last night(?) that Chief Moose was probably using code words in his announcement. I'm not very familiar with the technique, but your observation matches one of the experts whose identity escapes me....maybe Ted Williams on FNC.
As someone mentioned above......nuclear might fit?

It's the stucktomahchair syndrome.
