I still say that if the FBI wants to track a single online move, it could be done SOMEHOW. Yes indeed..

The only problem is: they don't WANT to release the picture. And for the life of me, I can't understand why... Gotta put that tinfoil hat on and think... Someone well known????

That is true "home educate"..unless they open up a hotmail acct using the anonymizer.. at a public library or even places like hotels ...mayo clinic for example has internet/computers available. They don't check ID's either. They can sign up for the hotmail acct, and then use it. But of course, they wouldn't be able to make phone calls on the net though.

Money in exchange for no more murders? As with a blackmailer, we would have no guarantee that he would keep his word after he got the money. Paying a blackmailer is a chump's game.

"and now it's apparent the sniper has chosen Moose to lead the pack.."
You have stated this several times and I must admit I am curious how you have come to this conclusion considering he has been out in the front of this investigation from the very first day. What has led you to believe that he has been 'chosen' by the shooter himself?

You don't learn the way he's been avoiding dragnets in a day or two.

I thought I heard on the radio..either rush or o'reilly say today that the parents asked for the schools to be closed? I have no idea if it's true or not.. just thought I'd share it.

I heard some report (who can remember what was reported and from whom?????) that the sniper had called the cops and told them that he had left them a note
The note was found last night at the scene of the crime. Evidently Sheriff Cook of Hanover County relayed the message to Sheriff Moose who then gave a press conference last night in which he acknowledged that he received the message and asked that the person who left it to please call the LE.

now it's apparent the sniper has chosen Moose to lead the pack.. If Moose is the mole, that would make a lot of sense.

Do you remember the label used to describe a thug who threats someone with violence or bodily harm to get what they want? Blackmail is the gist..but blackmail doesn't really call for violence. I've been wracking my brain for a while now and can't remember it. I hate it when I can't remember words like that.

Extortionist, extortion?

Isn't it strange that the parents of 5 school districts and I believe 4 counties would have the pull on a late Sunday night when NO ADMINISTRATORS are in the office to close all the schools after ONE SHOOTING ONLY in their area?? After all, in Montgomery County MD, where there were something like 7 shootings in two days, the schools only went into lockdown mode, no recess, and did not close at all! Think about it. That closure is unprecedented and I daresay it came from the threat in the note.

Good question Cyn..

"Le morte" is not standard French. Standard French for "death" is "la mort". Maybe it's a dialectical or archaic form. "Le morte" means "the dead"...standard french..

Extortion?
To: ~Kim4VRWC's~
It's not strong-arming, is it?
To: Bella
I think that was due to the fact that early on, no one knew what the stakes were You're probably right.

The shooting of just one at a time is a brag. I suspect it's a response to Ari Fleischer's comment about a single bullet killing Saddam. Fleischer made that comment Oct. 1. The killing spree in Silver Spring started Oct. 2.
