Very short press conference where he simply states that the Beltway Sniper attempted contact and Chief Moose requested that he call them back.

I think I heard that too. Ted Williams talks kind of "street", saying stuff like po-lice, but he makes perfect sense to me. I always like to see him on the tube.

I believe the police tried to call the number repeatedly and no one picked up. So the police have now taken over that same number and are asking the perp or whoever it is to call them at that number.

I vaguely remember someone's son being caught in Afghanistan and being sent to Gitmo. Can't remember if it was Rahman's or maybe Omar's. That may be who the feds went to retrieve. Will try to look it up later tonight.

Endeavor, I'm not upset with what you said in your earlier thread (that I should read the thread rather than ask a question). And until this post haven't responded to you in any way. I have responded to mombonn thanking her for her comments regarding my starting a thread each morning about the Beltway shooters. I don't know what it is you think I'm being paranoid about, but perhaps we should all take a chill pill. Let's not do what the GOP too often does - they eat their own. This is a great forum with varying viewpoints and ideas and let's use it as that - not a place to criticize each other's differing ideas.
