One more question: should it now be a given that because Moose was the one to deliver this message, Moose did not announce but implied that the Ponderosa shooting IS RELATED to the others?

Or they want Binalshibh.......or Zubadaya(sp) released.

Nah...I doubt the President's...although that is a possibility. I suspect it's someone, though, that would normally not have a phone number broadcast or known by many. It could be an agency number that is not widely circulated. It could be Moose's home phone number (although that's probably in the phone book). But it's a number that made an impact, that much is certain.

or, maybe Moose just thought this thread was getting a little slow...

"...the 'message you left' would more likely have been on the ponderosa answering machine,"That sounds very plausible.

Obviously they have evidence linking this shooting to the others, because they haven't even tried to deny that.

the police are the star attractionThat's probably the key -- now someone has to find the lock.

Steve Centani of FNC just reported that a source at the sniper task force said they believe the message was left by the sniper him/them self/selves

From Chief Moose at the latest news conference:
"to the person who left us a message at the Ponderosa last night, you gave us a telephone number; we do want to talk to you; plesae call us at the number you provided!"

Im confused It's a big club after Moose's last press conference...."To the person who left a message at the Ponderosa last night. You gave us a phone number. We do want to talk to you. Please call us at the number you provided."
To: Dog
"We don't know what phone number.... " I wonder if police are huddling around the Ponderosa phone?

The only way I can interpret it is the shooter left the cops a number which is at a phone booth or a library or something like that.
I really don't know what to think of it and we don't know what the cops know. They certainly shut up today if they had this for 18 hours.
