"But I've always maintained that the "domestic enemies of the Constitution" are far more dangerous than the foreign ones.'

These "domestic enemies" of yours are currently skating on very thin ice. No government that is unable to protect it's citizens can survive for long. Especially one that has robbed them endlessly.

I don't know, I believe we are going to see suspension of many freedoms before an effective 'war on terror' solution actually is implemented; comprehensively. We've been had by our own pc, politically motivated bs.

Like I've said before, when you're under fire, your priorities and your sense of proportion tend to undergo a bit of a transformation.

Let's hope that there are a multitude of Americans who are being awakened from their slumber...if they are, at least there is a silver lining to this dark cloud.

How are you not allowed to "defend" yourself?

What are you trying to say??? I am allowed to sue the sniper if I survive the shot??? That's my defense??? You an attorney???

Any advice in case they ask me? Should I stand up and require a warrant, or bend over?

Get back to us when the rumor is fact.n

Yea, I don't think this is some simple nutcase. It was the Army recon aircraft that delayed him.

A little too good. I doubt he's working alone.

Which was directed at a statement you now want to avoid.

All right then, just looking at the statement as you posted it I would say that it is a facetious post designed to point out that obeying the Constitution and observing the individual rights of citizens in an exacting manner in this case is liable to endanger the lives of Police Officers and therefore is suspect as a concept.

Then your response was to agree and insinuate that one who would expect them to obey the Constitution and observe the individual rights of citizens in an exacting manner would be "cop-haters".

If thats wrong then set me straight, I can deal with it if thats the case. But as I've related it, I have to stick with my original position.

These LEO and Prosecutors need to be given a 50 foot restraining order from any media consultant.

The daily press conferences are disgraceful. They may as well send Chief O'Hara to the mike: "Sweet Mother Mcree and Saints be Preserved ... Only the Caped Crusader can save us now ..."

Do you own a gun? Do you have a CCW? Do you have any idea what you are talking about?

You have rights, you know. Despite the ignorant and galactically stupid who'd rather you just throw yourself prostate on the floor and beg for abuse.

Yes, even jerks who want to impede the investigation have the right to refuse to voluntarily cooperate with the efforts of the authorities to catch the sniper.

The problem is that the 4473's aren't evidence unless the suspect is detected by other methods back to the gun.

The gunstore owner is not to reveal the information on the 4473 unless the ATF has evidence to suggest that the owner could have commited a crime.

In this case all gunowners of this specific caliber are being treated as criminals.

It's happening Tex, it's just not being reported in the press.

Wait a minute. How many owners have been contacted? How many have been forced to submit to ballistic testing?

Whatever. I'm not going to waste time arguing anymore. It just seemed to me like this thread turned into a chat room, instead of a commentary on the latest shooting. I know threads can go off-topic, but for some reason, this was the first time it ever really frustrated me. I'll go to another thread, and leave you be.

But ... your comment was the talking points from the dems. That's what I was commenting about.

I do believe Homeland Security will benefit us much more - in lieu of the type of war time security we are dealing with. And ... I do believe jobs will be lost - not gained - when this takes place. It will gather all those organizations together under one roof - so to speak - which means you don't need 20 receptionists - you only need 2 or 3; that type of thing. I also totally agree with the President on NO UNIONS for Homeland Security.

If he keeps shooting, they will evenutally get him. But I definitly agree. Who ever is doing this, knows what they are doing. No doubt about that.

Pot, Kettle, Black?

The key to a quality of life is stopping the perps before their FIRST transgression, especially if it's YOUR family being afflicted. It's great to track down the criminal before they act again, but LEOs in every house is the only way to prevent initial acts. Can you afford for your family to be the first effected by a nut?

911 is a cleanup call, check the facts.

Not to mention any "usual suspects", but some people who post about "rights", on threads like this, are really concerned about a right that dosen't exist - their right to partake of illegal drugs. They're concerned that they might get caught transporting, buying, or selling, or in a roadblock. Some aren't so much druggies as they are anarcho-nihilists.
