I don't mean to make you angry, but I think you may have misheard him. I was watching Fox from the time I posted this thread, and I did not hear Gibson say that.

I heard him refer to a "second" shooting too. I think he mis-spoke. It does sound like this is being treated like the killers from D.C.

On another note, I would not be too excited about the quick shutdown of I-95. US 1 and many side roads nearby, and if this is the same person or group, they are leaving the scene un-noticed, i.e. perhaps not using the major arteries.

With all due respect, I think almost everyone thought that the sniper may eventually move on to somewhere where they aren't looking for him as much. Just makes sense.

YES...in the past 100 years americans have become wimps...

Time to toughen up. Get the guns and start practicing. I want to get good enough to shoot the tires out from a fleeing perp. I followed a suspicious white van the other night, called the police and was told by a disinterested person to call another police number. Pi$$sed me off because the same information was relayed to the FBI hotline (by another person) and they were more than interested... FBI hotline number: 1-888-324-9800 and ask for an agent if you have any info or to report suspicious activity.

Saw something else last Sunday that was suspicious, but thought I was overreacting -- got reamed when I finally called it in a day later. It's scarey to think that it's really happening -- easier to go into denial even when it's right in one's face.

His horndoggery is about the only aspect of him I can relate to.....although that last episode was over the top....you know how it is with him.....the "story" is always about him.
