Just reported. Took place outside of a Ponderosa Steakhouse. Not sure if it is related or not at this time. Police have shut down parts of I-95.

The topography is relatively flat. I-95 runs through the non-hilly portion of Virginia. But you probably knew that :^)

It just occured to me all the perp has to do is throw a shell casing in another white truck and he has the cops going in circles.Don't be too hard on the cops. They're now working hard at getting a composite drawing of a 223 casing prepared for release to the public by next week, or soon thereafter.

Time to assemble a dossier on Hanover County Sheriff's office.

This is so freaky..At www.sniperwatch.com they have live cameras so I put up a link to it on another post.
Turns out, www.sniperwatch.com uses FreeRepublic for its breaking news, so it links right back to us!

I didn't catch where he said "2nd shot" location, all heard him say was Hwy 301 being closed, this after he said I-95 was closed, too.

I thought they found the Box Truck?? Terrorists will be using more than one box truck. They're using vans as well. A WMAL listener sent an e-mail to Chris Core telling of M.E. types pressuring her business to sell them their fleet of white trucks and vans.

I've been out today, what is the word on the white box truck at the airport?
Nothing official till Monday but the Washington Post is reporting that the shell casing is 7.62mm, not .223. Investigators aren't REALLY interested in the truck.

I went to look and the map was removed by the moderator police.

It was put up by a freeper.

It's not just the media. Morons here on FR also like to bring it up.

It appears to me the shooter, if in fact it's the beltway sniper, may have decided that there was to much heat in the greater Washington area. With military surveillance planes aloft, etc., it was time to move out of the immediate area of Washington, DC.

I've been wondering about motels, not necessitating the need for an immediate escape route. I drove past the Manassas exit today and there was a motel close by. The Fredericksburg and Massaponax shootings have motels as well. I don't know about the ones in Maryland.

Well, they can't stand the sight of pork. Ask my neighbor who can't read English. Every time she accidentally buys a frozen dinner with pork in it, she gives it to me. That's my perspective re: pork, the other white meat.
To: McLynnan
Authorities said they will not release the information until Monday (if then?).

I am watching Fox, and I didn't hear him say that.

Does anyone know what happened to any 'remains' from the terrorists in the WTC? I HOPE we have made it clear that any terrorists will be buried in pigfat, after being pi$$ed on by a group of nice feminists...

Good idea. There are too many "out of the box" thinkers around.

With military surveillance planes aloft, etc., it was time to move out of the immediate area of Washington, DC.And shoot on a weekend, to further the element of unpredictability.
